Stewards concluded an inquiry into the scratching of ASHLAND from the ANZ PERSONAL LOANS CLASS 2HCP AT 8-47AM on the 30/1/09. After hearing evidence from Trainer Mrs M Hassam stewards gave Mrs Hassam the benefit of the doubt. Mrs Hassam stated ASHLAND suffers from hoof problems (soft sole) with some days the horse being ok and others unable to be taken out of the stables.
