RACE 1 CLASS 5 HANDICAP 1460 METRES 3 STARTERS
WATHAM (A Molino) had to be restrained off the heels of BURN OFF (M Campbell) at about the 500 metres and the 250 metres.
RACE 2 CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1460 METRES 5 STARTERS
M Campbell (BOULEVARD LADY) protested against RAW TORQUE (D Lockwood) for alleged interference at about the 1100 metres. After taking evidence and reviewing the film, the Protest was dismissed. FRESHWATER PRINCE (M Deguara) was slow into stride.
RACE 3 CLASS 4 HANDICAP 1180 METRES 5 STARTERS
FLYING LOCKET (P Cullen) jumped in at the start. PEMBROOK (Ms C Murphy) eased off the heels of WONGA’S WAY (A Molino) at about the 1000 metres. PEMBROOK (Ms C Murphy) moved out at about the 550 metres, causing BELLESHANI (NZ) (M Deguara) to move out.
RACE 4 MAIDEN HANDICAP 1180 METRES 5 STARTERS
No Incidents.
RACE 5 CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1180 METRES 5 STARTERS
TOOK A WHILE (M Campbell) jumped in at the start. TIGER’S COURAGE(C Murphy) was laying on the side of the stalls when the start was affected. SIMON’S ME DAD (A Molino) was eased at about the 600 metres. After taking evidence from P Cullen (GOT US AGAIN) and App L Abbott, (DUSTY OVERDRIVE) and viewing the film, App L Abbott was given the benefit of the doubt in the incident.
RACE 6 OPEN HANDICAP 1000 METRES 6 STARTERS
Jockey P Cullen (EXPLAIN) was given permission to ride 1 kg overweight, as no other Jockey was available.
All winners were sent to be swabbed.
