WEATHER –FINE TRACK:-DEAD RAIL –TRUE

RACE 1:.CLASS 4 HANDICAP - 1460 Metres

No racing incidents.

RACE 2: CLASS 6 PLATE – 1180 Metres

BELLA DEANNA jumped awkwardly. The saddle of AUTOBARN shifted rounding the home turn placing Jockey J Cairns at a disadvantage in riding his mount out in the Straight. Approaching the finishing line AUTOBARN shifted in tightening MAGIC COMMAND and ABEERAH. As a result of the saddle shifting, Jockey J Cairns lost his irons.

RACE 3: CLASS 2 HANDICAP – 1180 Metres

DYOBY was a late scratching by order of the Stewards due to being under an existing Bar. EL WAN hung out in the early and middle stages of the event and raced wide throughout the event. Jockey J Stopps (TINMAG) accidentally dropped his whip at the 50 metre mark.

RACE 4: MAIDEN HANDICAP – 1180 Metres

No racing incidents.

RACE 5: CLASS 1 HANDICAP – 1000 Metres

BOSUN’S MATE was slow to begin. MYCLASE hung out badly in the middle stages of the event, and ran extremely wide making the home turn. Trainer P Mullins was advised that a final warning had been issued concerning MYCLASE hanging out, and he undertook to experiment with a butterfly bit on the Gelding. A Protest was lodged by Jockey J Stopps the rider of the 3rd placegetter GUINN against the winner JINDARA for alleged interference over the final 250 metres. After taking evidence from Jockey J Stopps (GUINN), and J Felix, (JINDARA), the Protest was dismissed. It was noted that over the concluding stages, JINDARA shifted out to improve, and momentarily hampered GUINN at the 200 metres, however, in the Stewards opinion, the ground lost by GUINN was minimal.

RACE 6: OPEN HANDICAP – 1000 Metres

NEXT IN LINE was slow into stride. P Cullen (EXPLAIN) was reprimanded for weighing in 0.5 kg in excess of his allocated weight. (AR 145)

ALL WINNERS WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED.
