Race 1: Vodka Cruiser Sprint Class B H’cap - Distance - 1100m.

1st - Kid Colac 2nd - Matrix 3rd - He’s Wanted 4th - Giddyupadingdong

R. Gudge trainer of MATRIX was reprimanded under the provisions of LR42(2) for failing to lodge an amended stable return by the prescribed time.

As there was no other rider available, stewards allowed jockey W Cullen to ride GIDDYUPADINGDONG a 1 kg overweight.

An inquiry will be opened into the reasons for SANLUCAR (G Cullen) meeting with interference inside the 1000 metres.

Passing the 200 metres ZIRCONS (M Young) shifted out slightly under pressure hampering VICTORY ALLEY (D Green).

Leaving the 50 metres VICTORY ALLEY (D Green) shifted in under pressure taking ZIRCONS (M Young) in onto RING FOREVER (P Cullen) resulting in both of those horses having to be steadied when placed in restricted room. D Green the rider of VICTORY ALLEY was advised that he must stop riding and straighten his mounts in similar circumstances.





Race 2: QRSE Rabobank H’Cap - Distance - 1000m.

1st - EXTERNAL FLAME 2nd -NO RESPECT 3rd - STOP WATCH 4th -SHODAMA.

As there was no other rider available, stewards allowed jockey W Cullen to ride SAM’S GOLD 1 kg overweight.

Passing the 900 metres SIR VIGNON (I Toward) had to be steadied off the heels of ROMANTIC BAY (F Edwards) which shifted in slightly.



Race 3: - Rabobank Maiden Plate - Distance - 900m.

1st - ISLAND ANNA 2nd - BONZA BOY 3rd - PEPPERTREE DANCER 4th - REAL FRISKY

Trainer D Erricker was fined the sum of $50 under the provisions of LR 42(2) for failing to lodge an amended stable return for ISLAND ANNA by the required time.

BONZA BOY (D Green) jumped out at the start and made contact with FULL FLUSH (D Armstrong)

ISLAND ANNA (M YOUNG) jumped away awkwardly and shifted out making contact with REAL FRISKY (G Cullen)

ISLAND ANNA (M Young) was inclined to hang out throughout the event.

Race 4: Rabo Equipment Finance Class 4 H’Cap - Distance - 1000m.

1st - ESDENE’S SEQUEL 2nd - BENCHED 3rd - UMAHERO

No racing incidents
