SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS

FROM ITC MEETING, 19.8.05

Stewards today concluded an inquiry into the reason for IN GOOD TIME (D. Green) falling shortly after passing the winning post in race 8. After taking evidence from D. Green, J. Taylor, rider of ORIENTAL PEACE, S. Drake, rider of COR CAROLI and M. Palmer, rider of AGRIOS, J. Taylor was found guilty of a charge of careless riding, in that shortly after passing the winning post he permitted his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of AGRIOS, which was taken in, crowding IN GOOD TIME and COR CAROLI, resulting in IN GOOD TIME falling. J. Taylor was suspended from riding in races for a period of 3 weeks, to commence at midnight, Saturday, 27 August, and to expire at midnight Saturday, 17 September 2005. In assessing penalty, stewards took into consideration J. Taylor's very good racing riding record.

____________________________

YOSSARIAN (D. Green) was tightened on jumping away between LIPINSKI (E. Dredge) and ULTRA MODERN (M. Wood).

Leaving the 1400m., the saddle on CASH ALL OVER (J. Taylor) slipped, resulting in J. Taylor having a difficult ride, and approaching the 1100m., CASH ALL OVER shifted out, forcing LIPINSKI wider on the track. . LIPINSKI raced wide from that point onwards.

Stewards questioned trainer A. Bailey regarding the improved performance of WATSON ROAD as compared to the gelding's recent starts. The explanation was noted.
