Race 1: Class 6 Plate 1000metres

LEEARTO jumped away awkwardly.

Race 2: Class 4 Handicap 1200metres

DAN’S DE NIRO and THE SNOWMAN were slow to begin.

Race 3: Class B Handicap 1200metres

Jockey O Galea was found guilty of a charge under AR120(b) in that he accepted the ride on MISTER WAFFIE when he was 1 kilogram overweight. Stewards imposed a pervious penalty which was suspended on the 14th August 2004 under LR36(h).O Galea’s licence the ride in races was suspend for 1 month commencing immediately and up to and including 9th November 2004.
As no other rider was available Stewards permitted O Galea to ride MISTER WAFFIE 1 kilogram overweight.
YOUNG MALDINI jumped away awkwardly.
Apprentice G Jones reported that YOUNG MALDINI was inclined to lay out throughout the event.

Race 4: Handicap 1300metres

No Racing Incidents.
