RACE; 1. MAIDEN HANDICAP of 800 METRES. 5 STARTERS.

HANKS TIME (David Simmons) was slow to begin. No incidents in running. Upon
returning to the jockeys room jockey D. Simmons succumbed to a bout of illness, requiring
ambulance attention followed by transport to Moranbah Hospital. D Simmons was advised
that Stewards require a Medical clearance prior to returning to race rides.

RACE 2. CLASS 2 HANDICAP of 1000 METRES, 7 STARTERS.

Stewards inquired into the quiet ride on LETHALIZE (C Schumacher), Schumacher stated that the gelding did not handle the dirt coming back. Schumacher was suffering a bout of the Flu and was excused ftom riding and was advised that Stewards required a Medical clearance prior to returning to race rides.

RACE 3. HANDICAP of 1120 METRES. 5 STARTERS.

YAN YAN ALFIE (Jo-Ann Pujolas) slipped at the start losing ground.

RACE 4.COALFIELD SERIES CLASS 4 HANDICAP of 1120 METRES. 5 STARTERS
STYMIE (C Beets) was slow to begin.

RACE 5. CLASS 5 HANDICAP of 1400 METRES. 4 STARTERS

ROCKY NED (C Beets) tended to hang out in the straight having to be corrected on two occasions. G Bell MALDWAY requested and was granted the opportunity to view the head on Video in the straight prior to correct weight.

RACE 6. CLASS 2 HANDICAP of 1400 METRES. 6 STARTERS.

No incidents

GENERAL: Trainer Kistin Price was directed by Stewards to tape the Buckles on reins being used.

Power to the Track was disrupted mid evening.
