RACE 1. CLASS 3 HANDICAP of 1400 METRE S. 5 STARTERS.

HIP HIP HURRAH (Roy Mules) hit the gate on jumping causing bleeding to the mouth.

RACE 2. HANDICAP of 1400 METRES. 6 STARTERS.

No incidents in running.

RACE 3. MAIDEN HANDICAP of 1000 METRES 7 STARTERS.

During shoeing inspection PEACE DANCE (Trainer H Hone) shifted backwards catching off hind over enclosure gate then jumped forward. Peace Dancer underwent Vet inspection and cleared to start. LA CHLOE (Bill Binder) having its first race start jumped awkwardly and raced greenly PEACE DANCE jumped awkwardly.

RACE 4. QTIS CLASS 1 HANDICAP of 1120 METRES. 8 STARTERS.

STANDING OUT (Bill Bell) reared in the boxes then settled. BALBRIDIE (Craig Beets) jumped awkwardly receiving minor lacerations to both hind hooves.

RACE 5. CLASS 5 HANDICAP of 1120 METRES 7 STARTERS.

BAY BEAUTY (Craig Beets) slipped on jumping losing ground.

GENERAL: Trainer Fran Cowan was cautioned over the use of over size nails in the shoeing of Bantu and La Chloe,
