SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT



Race 1: NEVILLE SWEETMANS CLASS B HANDICAP 800M:
1st – Eagle Jester 2nd – Regal Mountain 3rd – Monzar 4th – Rezanders Crown

On return to scale a protest was lodged by N. Patchett, rider of the 2nd placegetter, REGAL MOUNTAIN, against EAGLE JESTER being declared the winner, alleging interference over the final 150m. After taking evidence from the riders concerned and viewing the stewards’ patrol video, it was found that near the 100m, REGAL MOUNTAIN shifted out under pressure and made contact with the hindquarters of EAGLE JESTER resulting in EAGLE JESTER being turned in and bumping REGAL MOUNTAIN. As stewards were of the opinion the that the contact between REGAL MOUNTAIN and EAGLE JESTER was a result of REGAL MOUNTAIN shifting out making contact with the hindquarters of EAGLE JESTER stewards dismissed the objection and declared correct weight on the numbers semaphored.

At the start EAGLE JESTER (J. Kehoe) jumped in making contact with REGAL MOUNTAIN (N. Patchett).

MONZAR (App A. Butler) raced wide for the majority of the event.



Race 2: BULLET OPEN HANDICAP 800M:
1st – Danzig Warrior 2nd – Brawny Jack 3rd – Mini View 4th – Oops Sorry

PREMIER RESORT (J. Kehoe) was slow to begin.

OOPS SORRY (N. Patchett) raced wide for the majority of the event.

Race 3: WORKERS CLUB MAIDEN PLATE 1000M:
1st – Lonezar 2nd – Sir Echo 3rd – Sir Les 4th – Royal Debutante

At the start ROYAL DEBUTANTE (N. Patchett) jumped out making contact with RANCHO’S JOY (M.Cullen) who had to be steadied and shifted out making contact with LEICA ZED (D. Simmons).

SIR LES (App A. Coome) raced wide for the majority of the event.

Race 4: BEX’S CLASS 5 HANDICAP 1000M:
1st – Diagram 2nd – Super Shadow 3rd – Little Toffy 4th – Bloomin Lovely

At the start, SUPER SHADOW (App A. Coome) and CYCLONE GEORGE (N. Patchett) were tightened for room between DIAGRAM (D. Simmons) and BLOOMIN LOVELY (App A. Butler) which both shifted ground.

BLOOMIN LOVELY (App A. Butler) race wide for the majority of the event.

Race 5: MRC CATTLEMAN’S CUP CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1120M:
1st – Frog 2nd – Tai Fung 3rd – Iron Charger 4th – Vie Agro

Shortly after the start, BAK TAO (N. Patchett) blundered resulting in N. Patchett being dislodged. A short distance later both FROG (S. Watkin) and GAMBLERS WISH (App A. Butler) were inconvenienced by the riderless BAK TAO.

Approaching the 100, TAI FUNG (T. Bannon) shifted out under pressure resulting in VIE AGRO (App A. Coome) being momentarily crowded for room. T. Bannon was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
