RACE 1 –CAMELBOKS IN KILTS CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1250M.
Pride of Sequalo was slowly away. Cheque Book wa slow ly away and pulled hard in the early stages being being restrained.
RACE 2 –SHELEY DANIELS BIRTHDAY MAIDEN HANDICAP 1250M
Santa Wears Red was fractious in the barriers prior to the start and refused settle in the early stages. Approaching the 800m Rallets Star had to ease off the heels of Santa Wears Red. Star Raws stood flat footed as the gates opened and Lusty Racer was slowly away.
RACE 3 –ANDERSONS ENGINEERING CLASS 6 HANDICAP 1250M
Mono Blue and Savage City were slow to begin. As the paced slowed Savage City began to pull hard and was let slide up outside the leader Alpine Whistler at the 800m. Mono Blue was obliged to race three wide to the 600m and was inclined to lay in under pressure over the concluding stages.
RACE 4 -.PIONEER PERMANENT OPEN HANDICAP 1050M
W.Binder replaced D.Lloyd as the rider of Centro Robber when that rider was indisposed suffering from probable mild heat exhaustion. French Halo was a little slow to jump. Apprentice H.Watanabe was reprimanded for returning to scale .4 kilos over his declared weight.
RACE 5 -BENNETT & PARTNERS CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1050M
D.Lloyd was permitted to ride Glowing profit 1.0Kg overweight when no other rider was available. Zephr Bite was fractious in the barriers and was slowly away as the gates opened. Glowing profit was also slow to jump away. Hurricane Bob was obliged to race wide throughout the event.
RACE 6 –.PAUL HOPKINS MEDICAL CENTRE CLASS 4 HANDICAP 1450M
This race was shortened to 1450m due to repairs that are in progress on the outer section of the track at the 1500m start. Obstruction was slowly away. Century Sunset was caught wide in the early stages. Bantu was held up for clear running at the 250m but failed to run on.
