STEWARDS – G.Hargraves (ch), B.Chestermaster, T.Moloney.

WEATHER - Fine TRACK – Good
RAIL – True position.

RACE 1Chunk Ice Maiden Hcp 1050m 6 Strs.

WILD IRISH FLOWER and FRISK jumped away awkwardly.

Near the 500m PROPELLOR became unbalanced when bumped by GERTRUDIS, which
shifted out.

RACE 2 T.F. Woolam & Son Class 3 Hcp 1050m 6 Strs.

RAWING TRADE was slow away.

LETHALIZE jumped away awkwardly.

Near the 700m COOL BIJOU had to be steadied off the heels of RAWING TRADE.

Rounding the home turn LETHALIZE shifted out and bumped COOL BIJOU.

Jockey D.Jones was reprimanded for permitting his mount RAWING TRADE to
shift in approaching the 200m tightening the running of NOTORIOUS LADY,
which had to be eased.

When questioned over the seemingly disappointing performance of COOL BIJOU
Jockey R.Pujolas stated he was disappointed with the gelding’s effort and
could offer no explanation other than COOL BIJOU raced like a horse that
needed more ground. A subsequent vets examination failed to reveal any
abnormalities.

RACE 3 Happy Easter Open Hcp 1050m 6 Strs.

MINI ME was slow away.

DIVIOT hung out rounding the home turn taking NONO wider.

Jockey M.Attard was cautioned for allowing his mount DIVIOT to shift out on
several occasions in the home straight hampering NONO eventually forcing
that gelding to be steadied over the concluding stages.




RACE 4 Boomerang Class 1 Hcp 1250m 9 Strs.

Trainer R.Dunne was fined $50.00 in accordance with ARR141A (b) in that she
presented CAMBIO to race with oversized nails in its plates.

MYSTICAL was slow away.

CHAMACO was obliged to race wide throughout.

Approaching the 600m BIRD CALL had to be steadied off the heels of TOP ROAD,
which was tiring.

BIRD CALL was held up for clear running in the early stages of the straight.

RACE 5 XXXX Class 5 Hcp 1500m 7 Strs.

GLOWING PROFIT and TONTO MURPHY both jumped away awkwardly.

CAMOOWEAL was held up for clear running in the early stages of the home
straight.




All winners were sent to be swabbed.
