RAIL – True position.
GENERAL- As Jockey D. Lloyd was indisposed he was replaced as the rider on the following horses –
Race 1 JAZZAD – R. Pujolas
Race 2 BRETNIC – W. Binder
Race 3 PARTI COLOUR – D. Jones
Race 5 MISTER BENGAL – S. Watkin
SILLY MISTAKE was a late scratching at 8.35am due to a lack of riders when D. Lloyd became indisposed.
Race 1 AE SMITH OPEN HCP 1500m.
INIGO STORM jumped away awkwardly.
Approaching the 400m NEXT IN LINE had to be checked after it improved up onto the heels of INIGO STORM.
Race 2 TF WOOLAM CLASS 5 HCP 1500m.
MARAUDING ROGUE was slow away.
BRETNIC wanted to lay in over the concluding stages and had to be straightened by its rider W. Binder.
A post race vet inspection of MARAUDING ROGUE, which didn’t run on, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Race 3 XXXX MAIDEN HCP 1250m.
TIMBER CITY jumped away awkwardly and made heavy contact with WITCHES TWITCH.
Soon after the start WITCHES TWITCH shifted in and hampered MAJOR BLAZE.
WITCHES TWITCH and MAJOR BLAZE were trapped wide in the early and middle stages.
PARTI COLOUR raced ungenerously in the early stages and near the 900m had to be steadied off the heels of MAJOR BLAZE, which shifted in.
Race 4 CARLISLE MOTORS CLASS 3 HCP 1250m.
DADDY’S LITTLE MAN blundered on jumping away.
DOMINANT MALE was slow away.
DOMINANT MALE was trapped wide in the early and middle stages.
FEET ON THE GROUND bled for the first time during this event and automatically incurred a three-month ban from racing. FEET ON THE GROUND was swabbed.
Race 5 SHAKESPEARE INTERNATIONAL CLASS 1 HCP 1050m.
MISTER BENGAL jumped away awkwardly.
Near the 750m MISTER BENGAL had to be steadied off the heels of PRINCE IRGUN which shifted in.
All winners and FEET ON THE GROUND were sent to be swabbed.
