The Photo Finish equipment failed to work at all during the day – probably due to operator inexperience, consequently, all races were hand timed and judged from the Video Film.

Race 1: - QTIS CLASS 2 HANDICAP – 1010 Metres
1st - Crafty’s Brother, 2nd – Maya Magic, 3rd – Cape Rocket, 4th Isis Queen

MAYA MAGIC drifted wide negotiating the 400 metre turn
ERRATUM raced uncompetitively throughout.

Race 2: MAIDEN PLATE – 1123 Metres
1st – Chilli Chicks, 2nd – Brassanova, 3rd – Candy Lass, 4th – Frodo Baggins

Indisposed Jockey R Ryan was replaced by App C McCallum on ARRABATTUM
BRASSANOVA threw her head in the air as the starting stalls opened and lost many lengths, then came home strongly to run 2nd.

Race 3: CLASS 4 HANDICAP – 1123 Metres
1st Golden Card, 2nd Bolt Action, 3rd Goldengate Part, 4th Moment of Fame

Indisposed Jockey R Ryan was replaced on REGAL RANGER by L Buckingham
App T Bannon replaced L Nelson on MOMENT OF FAME when Jockey Nelson was overweight and was charged under AR 120d

TOOBANNA jumped awkwardly and lost ground at the start.

Race 4: CLASS B HANDICAP – 1210 Metres
1st – Yakka Yakka, 2nd – Camp David, 3rd – Good Old Days, 4th – San Remo Flyer

YAKKA YAKKA reared as the starting stalls opened and was slow away.
MISSING IN ACTION had to ease at the 800 metres when he appeared to get up on the heels of CAMP DAVID who was improving ground inwardly.
ALL WINNERS WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED
