DRAGON ACE (L Smith) attempted to buck shortly after the start and hung out badly from the 800mtrs to the finish. Trainer G Porter was advised that the horse will have had a warning placed on it racing manners.

Trainer’s G Baker and J Williams asked to view the film of the race after viewing the film of the race they were satisfied with the result and correct weight was declared.

Jockey K Rockett was issued with a reprimand for his ride on MISS KNIEVAL after leaving the barriers.

1st -Tingle 2nd -Spurparts 3rd –Erebus 4th –Zip ‘N’ Zizz

The declaration of correct weight was delayed as jockey D Simmons wished to view the film of the race. After viewing the film Jockey Simmons was satisfied and correct weight was given

As the barrier gates opened TINGLE (B Swaffer) threw its head in the air and consequently lost some ground.

Race 3 : GRAHAM HOTEL BRACELET BM65 HANDICAP1210 MTRS
1st –Miss Rye 2nd -Ottana 3rd –General Rippa 4th –Speed Dragon

OTTANA (B Swaffer) dwelt slightly at the start.

Race 4 : SAMSONS FRUIT & VEGE HANDICAP1123 MTRS
1st –Camphor 2nd -Stieg 3rd –The Take 4th –Doyadeal

Correct weight was delayed for some time as the connections of the second placegetter STIEG wished to see the official photo finish print. After viewing the photo and computer image they were satisfied and correct weight was given.

PANECILLO and MASTER DANNY came together at the start.

Race 5 : VISY BOXES &MORE MAREEBA CUP CLASS 6 HANDICAP1500 MTRS
1st - Skitter 2nd –Bold Trojan 3rd –Hittamahottamus 4th – Go Amigo

SKITTER (S Wiseman) was examined by the club Veterinary Surgeon after becoming unruly behind the barriers and was passed fit to start.

BOLD TROJAN (F Edwards) began to over race at the 1200m.
