GENERAL: This meeting was conducted under the conditions of the Queensland Community Racing Scheme (QCRS). No Bookmakers or Photo Finish operated at this meeting. All starts were by means of a flag fall. The only professional rider who rode at this meeting was Les CRITOPH. All other riders who competed were licensed Approved Riders. All prizes were in the form of trophies only. Races Two and Three on the original programme were each divided into Divisions One and Two at Acceptance Time owing to the number of acceptors.

Race 1: COLEMAN STOCK FEEDS MAIDEN PLATE (Set Weights). Distance - 800m. (4 Starters).
1st - CRACKERDUST 2nd - BROUGH 3rd - BURGOMASTER 4th - N/a.
Soon after the start MASCARA GIRL (Mr. D.Owens), began bucking and dislodged
the rider at about the 700 metres. Mr OWENS did not receive any injuries and continued riding at the meeting. Mr. K. SORENSEN. The trainer of MASCARA GIRL was advised to further educate the mare, which was having its first start, before again nominating it for races.
Race 2: McDONALD LEONG LAWYERS RESTRICTED TROPHY 2. (Set Weights). DIVISION ONE. Distance - 800m. ( 6 Starters).
1st - KALINGA EMMA 2nd - CALL ME GUNYA 3rd - COBBI LAD
4th - SEANOFEAR.
Soon after the start HOLY GHOST (L.Critoph), began bucking and lost a great deal of ground and was uncompetitive for the remainder of the race.
Race 3: McDONALD LEONG LAWYERS RESTRICTED TROPHY 2. (Set Weights). DIVISION TWO. Distance - 800m. ( 6 Starters).
1st -KALINGA TASH 2nd - DIATONIC 3rd - WEST SUN
4th - TINSKY DANCER.
HIT THE PAPERS (Ms Amy MACINTOSH), lost some three lengths as the flag start was effected.
Race 4: BIG HAMMER BUILDING CENTRE. RESTRICTED 4. (Set Weights). DIVISION ONE. Distance - 1000m. (6 Starters).

1st - NOEL’N’PETE 2nd - IVOROSSO 3rd - BLEIGHSBOY
4th - FILZAO
BLEIGHSBOY (Mr. B.Billington) . lost some four lengths as the flag start was effected and was then forced to race wide rounding the home turn. Over the concluding stages IVOROSSO (Mr. D. OWENS) was disappointed for a run between BLEIGHSBOY and NOEL’N’PETE (L. CRITOPH). Both Mr. B. Billington and L.CRITOPH were advised to ensure that their mounts maintain a straight course when not sufficiently clear to shift ground.
Race 5 : BIG HAMMER BUILDING CENTRE. RESTRICTED 4. (Set Weights). DIVISION TWO. Distance - 1000m. (5 Starters).
1st - FRAAREVA 2nd -KALINGA TOWN 3rd - COAT TALES
4th - BABY TOD
HURRICANE HAL (Ms A. WILLIAMS) . lost some four lengths as the flag start was effected
Race 6: PARRY NISSAN BANGLE OPEN TROPHY RACE. (Set Weights). Distance - 800m. ( 8 Starters).
1st - YAMADO 2nd - BOB’S COUNTY 3rd - MISTER NEWS
4th - DOC’S LAMENT.
COMPACT CURVES (Ms A. WILLIAMS) and TREE OF KNOWLEDGE lost some two lengths as the flag start was effected. Mr H. Macintosh the rider of ANOTHER OPINION lost both stirrup irons soon after the start and was unable to ride his mount competitively.
Race 7: RICE FAMILY BRACELET OPEN TROPHY RACE. (Set Weights). Distance - 1400m. ( 6 Starters).
1st - SANDCAY 2nd - PIKESTAFF 3rd - COLD PRESSED
4th - RUSTY GOLD.
CROWN COUNSEL (Mr. H.Macintosh) lost some four lengths as the flag start was effected. L.CRITOPH the rider of SIMPLY AMAZING which finished a distant last advised that the gelding was uncompetitive throughout the race. SANDCAY (Mr D.OWENS) was forced to race wide rounding the home turn.
Race 8: PEACEWOOD THOROUGHBREDS OPEN TROPHY RACE. (Set Weights). Distance - 1000m. ( 7 Starters).
1st - LADY FLICK 2nd - GALITERI 3rd - HOUSE OF HORRORS
4th - FIERY SEAS
BUTTERFLY JUNGLE (Mr. B. BILLINGTON) and SEACOAST (Mr. H. Macintosh) were slow to gather pace from the standing start and lost some three lengths.
Race 9: NEWFORCE LIVESTOCK RESTRICTED TROPHY 6. (Set Weights). Distance - 1200m. ( 7 Starters).
1st - KALINGA PARKER 2nd - CLEAR INTENT 3rd - TEXAS FLOOD
4th - GUM SCRUB
GUM SCRUB (Mr. B. BILLINGTON) lost some four lengths as the standing start was effected.
