GENERAL: This meeting was conducted under the conditions of the Queensland Community Racing Scheme (QCRS). No Bookmakers or Photo Finish operated at this meeting. All starts were by means of a flag fall. The only professional rider who rode at this meeting was Les CRITOPH. All other riders who competed were licensed Approved Riders. All prizes were in the form of trophies only.
Races Two and Seven on the original programme were each divided into Divisions One and Two at Acceptance Time owing to the number of acceptors.
Race 1: HALL’S FIREARMS Maiden PLATE (Set Weights). Distance - 1000m. ( 2 Starters).
1st - BROUGH 2nd - BURGOMASTER.
Only two starters. No incidents.

Race 2: TOPX RICHMOND RESTRICTED THOPHY 2. (Set Weights). DIVISION ONE. Distance - 1200m. ( 6 Starters).
1st - CALL ME GUNYA 2nd - BUTTERFLY JUNGLE
3rd - KALINGA PARKER 4th - WEST SUN.
After passing the winning post KALINGA PARKER (Mr. J. DAGAN), which had finished third in the race, went amiss in the near side front fetlock. The gelding was inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon and R.S.C. Veterinary Incident and Injury Report No. 08306 refers.

Race 3: TOPX RICHMOND RESTRICTED THOPHY 2. (Set Weights). DIVISION TWO. Distance - 1200m. ( 5 Starters).
1st - DIATONIC 2nd - TEXAS FLOOD 3rd - HOLY GHOST
4th - SEVEN SERIES.
CRACKERDUST was a late scratching from this event at saddling time after it was found to be suffering from Colic. An examination by the Veterinary Surgeon confirmed this and R.S.C. Veterinary Incident and Injury Report No. 08306 refers.. CRACKERDUST was scratched by order of the Stewards who acted on Veterinary advice. There was no betting on the race.

Race 4: RAY WHITE RURAL RURAL CHARTERS TOWERS OPEN TROPHY. (Set Weights). Distance - 1200m. (4 Starters).
1st - LADY FLICK 2nd - CLEAR INTENT 3rd - COMPACT CURVES
4th - HOUSE OF HORRORS
HOUSE OF HORRORS (Mr J. DAGAN) was found to be lame after the race and Trainer Mr. Cam TINDALL advised the horse will be retired from racing immediately.

Race 5: LEITHBRIDGE TRANSPORT RESTRICTED TROPHY 6. (Set Weights). Distance - 1000m. ( 7 Starters).
1st - KALINGA EMMA 2nd - ANOTHER OPINION 3rd - GALITERI
4th - BLEIGHSBOY
FIERY SEAS (Mr. D.OWENS) was a late scratching from this race when whilst parading before entering onto the track the gelding was found to be lame. After an examination by the Veterinary Surgeon this was confirmed and Veterinary Surgeon and R.S.C. Veterinary Incident and Injury Report No. 08307 refers. FIERY SEAS was scratched by order of the Stewards acting on Veterinary advice. There was no betting on the race. BLEIGHSBOY (Mr. B.BILLINGTON) lost some four lengths as the start was effected.

Race 6: RISING SUN HONDA KOOROORINYA OPEN TROPHY RACE. (Set Weights). Distance - 1000m. (7 Starters).
1st - YAMADO 2nd - FILZAO 3rd - ENCORES AND ROSES
4th - RUSTY GOLD
TREE OF KNOWLEDGE (Ms Amy Macintosh) was forced to race wide rounding the home turn.

Race 7 : WILSON RYAN GROSE 2009 KOOROORINYA CUP OPEN TROPHY . (Set Weights). Distance - 1600m. (6 Starters).
1st - SAND CAY 2nd - FRAAREVA 3rd - PIKESTAFF
4th - KALINGA TOWN
GUMSCRUB (Mr. B. BILLINGTON) and COLD PRESSED (Mr. K. SHARP) both lost some eight lengths as the start was effected and then COLD PRESSED raced wide from the 1000 metres to the 400 metres and then began to tire. GUMSCRUB and COLD PRESSED each finished a long distance from the remainder of the field after making up the ground in the middle stages which had been lost at the start. .

Race 8 : INLAND BRAHMAN STUD RESTRICTED TROPHY 4. (Set Weights). Race : INLAND BRAHMAN STUD RESTRICTED TROPHY 4. (Set Weights). DIVISION ONE. Distance - 800m.
1st - MISTER NEWS 2nd - NOEL’N’PETE 3rd - POINTING NORTH
4th - IVOROSSO
As the start was effected MISTER NEWS (Mr J.DAGAN) jumped out onto JORDAN’S DRAGON (Ms A.WILLIAMS) causing JORDAN’S DRAGON to lose several lengths. LUDLOW LAD ((Ms Amy Macintosh) also lostseveral lengths as the start was effected. Jockey L. CRITOPH, the rider of NOEL’N’PETE who finished a close second in the race requested to view the video footage of the finish, which was used to determine finishes before correct weight was declared. On viewing the footage Jockey CRITOPH was satisfied with the Judge’s decision.

Race 9 : INLAND BRAHMAN STUD RESTRICTED TROPHY 4. (Set Weights). Division TWO. Distance - 800m.
1st - KALINGA TASH 2nd - COAT TALES 3rd - HURRICANE HAL
4th - TINSKY DANCER.
As the start was effected SEACOAST (Mr. H.Macintosh) jumped sideways and disadvantaged HURRICANE HAL (Ms A.WILLIAMS) causing that runner to lose ground. SEACOST then galloped inwards at an acute angle, behind the remainder of the field, to the inside running and then commenced racing.
