STEWARDS: J. BOON (CHAIRMAN), S. WALSH, G. WUST, N. VAGG (CADET)

WEATHER: FINE. TRACK: GOOD

RACING:
RACE 1 CLASS 4 HCP. 1800 METRES (5 STARTERS) CICATRIX (J. Stephens) jumped awkwardly.
Approaching the 600 metres MARKET WALK (NZ) (D. Evans) commenced to hang out.

RACE 2 2YO MAIDEN HCP. 1000 METRES (9 STARTERS) BRAQUER LAD (W. Welburn) jumped awkwardly.
Approaching the 500 metres SHE KEN SPY (D Whitmore) which was racing greenly, shifted in crowding OVER TO YOU (G. Evans) resulting in that filly being steadied. Subsequently BRAQUER LAD had to ease when improving onto the heels of OVER TO YOU.

RACE 3 CLASS 1 HCP 1000 METRES (8 STARTERS) GEODINA (D. Evans) jumped awkwardly.

RACE 4 CLASS 4 HCP. 1100 METRES (8 STARTERS). TILBA ROSE (M. Unwin) was slow to begin.
Kerrod Smyth the trainer of WOBBLY BOOT was fined the sum of $50 for failing to engage a rider by the perscribed time.

RACE 5 SPECIAL CONDITIONS HCP. 1100 METRES (8 STARTERS).At the start REGAL REGARD (D. Johnston) and GANCIA SOVEREIGN (D. Simmons) made contact.
TOPEEM (G. Evans) commenced to hang badly when approaching the 700 metres.

RACE 6 3YO MAIDEN HCP 1200 METRES (8 STARTERS) Approaching the 700 metres COUNT ON KEN (W. Welburn) struck the running rail.
D. Johnston the rider of JAZZ COUNTY was issued with a severe reprimand for permitting his mount to shift out when insufficiently clear of COUNT ON KEN from the 350 metres to the 200 metres, resulting in that gelding having to be steadied and ultimately W. Welburn its rider was obliged to alter course to obtain clear running.

RACE 7 OPEN HCP. 1600 METRES (5 STARTERS) No racing incidents to report.

BOOKMAKERS: Five (5) bookmakers fielded at the race meeting.
SWABBING: All winners were sent to be swabbed and the samples collected were forwarded to the Racing Science Centre for routine analysis.
