The horse was backing up after racing at Mackay on Friday 26/3/2004. Stewards ordered a veterinary examination of VERTARA, which revealed that the horse had sustained skin grazes to the near side hind as though it had clipped itself while racing. Explanations were noted and a routine swab sample ordered to be taken from that horse.
