SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS:

Steward’s to-day concluded an inquiry from Rockhampton Jockey Club, 16th May 2006, into the conduct of licensed foreperson M Jackson.
M Jackson was found guilty to a charge of misconduct under AR175(q) in that he conducted himself in a manner prejudice to the image of racing. M Jackson was disqualified for a period of three calendar months effective immediately, up to and including Friday, 25th August 2006.

Race 1: BP DUARINGA TATTERSALL’S MILE CLASS 4 H’CAP – 1600M.
1st – WATER BUFFALO 2nd – PACIFIC SEA 3rd – CALL ME VICTOR 4th – DANGEROUS BLETCH

App L Dillon, who was unable to take advantage of any of his two kilogram claim was replaced as the rider of DANGEROUS BLETCH by apprentice M Radecker. At a subsequent inquiry L Dillon was fined the sum of $200.00 under AR92(12).

Both STRATEGIC MADNESS (S Watkin) and DANGEROUS BLETCH (App M Radecker) began awkwardly.

CALL ME VICTOR (A Pattillo) and FOB POCKET (J Stephens) were slow to begin.

Near the 1100m EQUITANT (C Whiteley) became unbalanced and shifted in momentarily hampering CORRIENTE (App D Carrigg).

Leaving the 1100m FOB POCKET (J Stephens) had to be steadied, and shift in to avoid the heels of DANGEROUS BLETCH (App M Radecker) which shifted in, MISHAEL (L Timson) which was racing to the inside of FOB POCKET raced in restricted room for a short distance as a result. M Radecker, the rider of DANDEROUS BLETCH was reprimanded under AR137(a) and advised to exercise more care when shifting ground.

Apprentice M Radecker, the rider of DANGEROUS BLETCH, was found guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR137(a) in that near the 650m she permitted her mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of EQUITANT (C Whiteley) which was taken in onto CORRIENTE (App D Carrigg) which made contact with the inside running rail, having to be checked and lose its position. M Radecker’s licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of nine (9) South East Queensland meetings to commence at midnight, Sunday, 28th May 2006, and to expire at midnight, Sunday, 11th June 2006.

Leaving the 300m, both CALL ME VICTOR (A Pattillo) and STRATEGIC MADNESS (S Watkin) brushed and were crowded for room when both horses shifted ground under pressure.

Both DANGEROUS BLETCH (App M Radecker) and FOB POCKET (J Stephens) raced wide throughout the race.

Race 2: BP GRACEMERE CLASS 1 PLATE S/W – 1100M.
1st – SHUKU 2nd – BOLD RED 3rd – GLENDALE LAD 4th – MATERIAL MISS

HEARPSIE’S POPPET (App M Radecker) was slow to begin.

Both INTUITVE LAD (App D Carrigg) and SUPADIVA (C Whiteley) were tightened for room at the start between BOLD RED (M Cant) which jumped out and CORBETT KING (D Lloyd) which jumped in, SUPADIVA lost ground as a result.

Approaching the 750m INTUITIVE LAD, had a tendency to overrace and had to be steadied off the heels of BOLD RED (M Cant), MUCH LOVED (J Stephens) which was following had to be steadied as a result.

Leaving the 400m INTUITIVE LAD (App D Carrigg) shifted out making contact with SUPADIVA (C Whiteley).

Near the 300m SHUKU (L Morrison) shifted out brushing DOWN THE LINE (M Barnham).

Both DOWN THE LINE (M Barnham) and CORBETT KING (D Lloyd) raced wide throughout the race.

Race 3: BP SOUTH ROCKHAMPTON QTIS 2YO H’CAP – 1200M.
1st – CARIBOO HILLS 2nd – COLE TRICKLE 3rd – ZARIZITIZ 4th – FORADE

The start was delayed when FORADE proved difficult to load. D Badham, the trainer of FORADE was advised a warning would be placed on the horse’s barrier manners.

Both ZARIZITIZ (App D Carrigg) and COLE TRICKLE (App O Turpin) were tightened for room at the start between UNCLE MAX (C Whiteley) which jumped out and DECEIVING (D Whitmore) which jumped in.

EMPIRE ROAD (J Stephens) jumped out at the start making contact with SOUNDSLIKEJAZZ (C Beets).

ZARIZITIZ (App D Carrigg) had a tendency to overrace in the middle stages and shifted wider on the track leaving the 500m.

DECEIVING (D Whitmore) and ZARIZITIZ (App D Carrigg) bumped on several occasions over the final 350m when both horses shifted ground under pressure.

SOUNDSLIKEJAZZ (C Beets) after racing wide throughout the race shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.

Race 4: BP ON ALBERT MAIDEN H’CAP – 1200M.
1st – AURAMII 2nd – TIME TO GAZE 3rd – MAJOR ADIR 4th – MADDISON COURT

Both DEVARAJA JOE (App L Dillon) and MADDISON COURT (App M Radecker) were slow to begin.

After being fractious in the barriers MISTER MINOR (C Whiteley) was slow to begin.

GO JACK (M Cant) began awkwardly and then raced wide throughout the race.

FOUR SOX (App A Coome) was tightened for room at the start between TIME TO GAZE (D Barron) which jumped out and LAID BACK JACK (K Yoshida) which began awkwardly and shifted in.

Approaching the 800m PADDY GO EASY (S Quick) commenced to overrace having to be restrained off the heels of FLASHY DIVA (J Stephens).

LAID BACK JACK (K Yoshida) commenced to hang out near the 700m shifting wider on the track. J Lewis, the trainer of LAID BACK JACK, was advised a warning would be placed on the horse’s racing manners.

A Stephens, the trainer of FLASHY DIVA reported to stewards that the horse had a laceration to its off hind leg after the event.

Race 5: BP MARMOR BATTLERS CUP CLASS 2 – 2000M.
1st – DR TROUBLE 2nd – DANDY SCENE 3rd – GAZE COUNTY 4th – SHAZRADAD

POSE (D Evans) was slow to begin.

SHAZRADAD (App D Carrigg) began awkwardly.

TOONAK (C Beets) r aced wide in the middle stages.

Race 6: RELIANCE PETROLEUM TATTERSALL’S GOLD CUP 2 H’CAP – 1800M.
1st – TYCOON TED 2nd - DELICATA 3rd – AWSOME WARRIOR 4th – ADAVALE HORNET

Both ADAVALE HORNET (App S Bogenhuber) and DEBONAIR (N Evans) were slow to begin.

TYCOON TED (App D Carrigg) overraced in the early and middle stages.

LEGAL BRIEF (L Morrison) was accidentally struck over the head by the whip of ADAVALE HORNET (App S Bogenhuber) near the 300m.

FASTNESS (C Whiteley) was crowded for room over the final 200m by PIMPALA PLAYER (S Quick) which lay in under pressure.

DELICATA (App M Radecker) lay in under pressure near the finish crowding PIMPALA PLAYER (S Quick).

Shortly after passing the winning post both PIMPALA PLAYER (S Quick) and FASTNESS (C Whiteley) had to be checked when tightened for room by DELICATA (App M Radecker) which shifted in. M Radecker, the rider of DELICATA was severely reprimanded under AR137(a) and advised to keep her mount straight in similar circumstances.

Race 7: BP ON YAAMBA TATTERSALL’S SPRINT H’CAP – 1200M.
1st – TROPIQUALO 2nd – SHE’S DECENT 3rd – KING HUNTER 4th – TOWN PLAYER

JOE DIRT was declared a late scratching at 1.32pm by order of stewards acting on vet’s advice.

Both ROSIELEE MISS (K Yoshida) and LIGHTNING JOHANN (J Stephens) were slow to begin.

WINSOME DANCER (P Hammersley) and DYNAMIC DANCING (A Pattillo) made contact at the start when both horses shifted ground.

KING HUNTER (D Evans) had trouble obtaining a clear run from the 300m until leaving the 200m.

WINSOME DANCER (P Hammersley) shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.

DYNAMIC DANCING (A Pattillo) raced wide for a majority of the race.

Both LIGHTNING JOHANN (J Stephens) and UMAPRINCE (App M Radecker) raced wide throughout the race.


Race 8: BP TRAVEL CENTRE YEPPOON CLASS 6 PLATE S/W – 1100M.
1st – NEDIYM’S IMAGE 2nd – TEMPLE JACK 3rd – ONE ALONE 4th – KISTADAN

FLICK ‘N’ SPIN (A Pattillo) was slow to begin.

Both CHARLIE WON’T (App D Carrigg) and STARRY SYMBOLS (C Beets) raced wide throughout the race.

Apprentice A Coome, the rider YO KIDOKI, dropped his whip near the 300m.

Trainer N Boyle, reported to stewards that KISTADAN returned to scale with its tongue over the bit.
