Race 1: WE SELL GOLDEN SLIPPER WINNERS QTIS MAIDEN H’CAP (DIV 1) 1100m:
1st – ME HERE 2nd – COCKY LAD 3rd – BELLARA GOLD 4th – OUR BRUISER
PAGEN’S FORTUNE was declared a late scratching at 11:43 am by the order of stewards after that horse failed to arrive on course by the prescribed time. Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by trainer A Stephens regarding the late arrival of PAGEN’S FORTUNE and took no further action.
Jockey J Stephens was reprimanded under the provisions of LR49 for failing to arrive on course by the prescribed time.
As apprentice T Chambers was to be overweight, she was replaced by Apprentice K Pedron on ADMIRALS REGRET. App T Chambers was fined the sum of $100 under the provisions of AR 120(b).
IGOTITFROMMYMUMMA (App T. Bannon) shifted out at the start and made contact with CRAIGLEA RUBY (C. Whitely).
PRECIOUS RING (D. Hayse) commenced to over race near the 900m and did so for some distance.
Approaching the first turn DRAKE’S PASSAGE (R. Hall) commenced to over race on the heels of COCKY LAD (K. Wharton) and when being restrained, shifted out and made contact with PRECIOUS RING. A short distance later DRAKE’S PASSAGE then shifted back in tightening the running of IGOTITFROMMYMUMMA.
At the same stage ADMIRALS REGRET (App K. Pedron) shifted out and made contact with CRAIGLEA RUBY.
CRAIGLEA RUBY raced wide for the majority.
Race 2: WE SELL GOLDEN SLIPPER WINNERS QTIC MAIDEN H’CAP (DIV 2) 1100m:
1st – IGLESIASTIC 2nd – MARTIROS 3rd – MIGHTY MALOUVRE 4th – BALLINDALLOCH
CLASSY LANI (R. Hall) was slow to begin.
YOU ARE MY LADY (App T. Bannon) jumped out at the start and made contact with BALLINDALLOCH (App L Dillon).
CLASSY LANI over raced in the middle stages.
ROCKING ON GOLD (J Stephens) raced wide for the majority.
BALLINDALLOCH was held up for clear running from rounding the home turn until leaving the 200m and was again unable to secure clear running for a short distance approaching the 100m.
Race 3: THE NATIONAL SALE IS ON NOW CLASS 2 H’CAP 1800m:
1st – SPORTS ACADEMY 2nd – LION BRAVE 3rd – FOUR AMIGOS 4th – SESEMANN
GOD’S RIVAL (App A Coome) blundered on jumping away.
UNCLE JAN (C Whitley) was slow to begin.
Jockey K Wharton rider of CRAIGLEA PEARL was reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift out when insufficiently clear of UNCLE JAN, resulting in that horse having to be steadied when tightened onto the hindquarters of LEGIONNAIRE (C Eaton).
Race 4: WWW.MAGICMILLIONS.COM.AU OPEN H’CAP 1200m:
1st – KALINGA COUNTY 2nd – TYCOON TED 3rd – DANWANA 4th – EMPIRE BURLESQUE
Near the 1000m KALINGA COUNTY (App T Chambers) shifted in taking PARTY EXPRESS (J Stevens) in onto TYCOON TED (D Missen), which had to be steadied. Apprentice T Chambers was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
IT’S OUR NEDIYM (App A Coome) raced wide throughout.
Race 5: 1300MILLIONS CLASS 1 H’CAP 1000m:
1st – COMMISIONER MAC 2nd – CARRY THE CLUBS 3rd – REVOLVA 4th – SEAGAZE
As A Best was to be overweight, he was substituted as the rider of SHY BUCK by C Beets. A Best was fined the sum of $100 under AR120(b).
REVOLVA (C Whitley) raced in restricted room for a short distance after the start between COMMISIONER MAC (L Brown) and SEAGAZE (S Quick).
JUZANA (G Baker) raced wide throughout.
Near the 100m CLINTO KHAN (App T Chambers) had to be steadied when placed in restricted room between SHY BUCK (C Beets) which shifted out and JUST LIKE SEAGAL (K Wharton) which shifted in slightly.
Race 6: MAGIC MILLIONS INSURANCE TAKE A CLOSER LOOK CLASS 4 H’CAP 1000m:
1st – HARD WOOD FOREST 2nd – KING KANAWA 3rd – AUGUST FAIR 4th – LET IT HAIL
RED ENZO (C Eaton), AUGUST FAIR (C Whitley) and LASTING PEACE (D EVANS) were all slow to begin.
SUBSEQUENCE (S Quick) was held up in the early stages of the straight, and near the 100m raced in restricted room for a short distance between OOPS SORRY (App K Pedron) and LASTING PEACE.
Race 7: MAGIC MILLIONS ROCKHAMPTON 2YO TROPHY 1000m:
1st – BLACK MINX 2nd – HYDE PARK 3rd – HIGH ROLL ‘N WOMAN 4th – LOVE HIT ME
CANNYCLIMB (C Beets) jumped out making contact with HIGH ROLL ‘N WOMAN (G Colless) which inturn shifted out taking HYDE PARK (App L Dillon) out onto CRAIGLEA FALCON (C Whitely).
MEXICANO (App A Coome) was slow to begin.
Near the 800m MEXICANO, which had commenced to over race, shifted in when being restrained tightening the running of DUBAI CELEBRATION (G Baker) and HYDE PARK.
Near the 550m LOVE HIT ME (B. Stewart) attempted to shift out to obtain clear running and in doing so made contact with BLACK MINX (J. Byrne). As a result of that contact LOVE HIT ME shifted back in and had to be steadied of the heels of PRAIRIE KING (D. Missen).
Approaching the 300m, BLACK MINX (J Byrne) shifted out hampering HIGH ROLL ‘N WOMAN.
Following the event G Colless reported that HIGH ROLL ‘N WOMAN failed to stretch out when placed under pressure in the straight.
A post race veterinary examination of HIGH ROLL ‘N WOMAN revealed the filly to have sustained lacerations to both foreleg heel bulbs.

Race 8: MAGIC MILLIONS LEASING IT’S NEVER BEEN EASIER CLASS 3 PLATE 1400m:
1st – CHICKEN BOB 2nd – THE BROWN HORNET 3rd – KINGS VALOUR 4th – PATMOSS
KINGS VALOUR (C Whitely) was tightened for room on jumping away between CHICKEN BOB (D Missen) and REQUEST THIS (App K Pedron) both of which shifted ground.
A TAD COOL (App T Chambers) reared on jumping away.
Near the 1100m A TAD COOL, which had commenced to over race, had to be steadied off the heels of DANCING SAILOR (R Hall).
PATMOSS (App A Coome) was held up for clear running for a short distance leaving the 400m.
Race 9: SIX MILLION MAGIC MILLIONS RACE SERIES OPEN H’CAP 1600m:
1st – NINANG 2nd – HIGHEST POWER 3rd – JUMPIN JARED 4th – LINK HOGTHROB
J Stephens replaced G Baker as the rider of DANCE FOR ALL. Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by jockey G Baker in relation to him failing to fulfil his engagement.
HIGHEST POWER (D Evans) blundered on jumping away.
FASAADI (App T Chambers) raced wide in the early stages.
SNIPPITY SNIP (J Byrne) raced wide for the majority of the event.
Apprentice A. Coome was fined the sum of $200 under the provisions of AR137(c) for making a celebratory gesture prior to his mount passing the winning post.
