App. G. Steele, the rider of NOSTOPPINTHEMUSIC, explained that she was instructed to endeavour to obtain cover with the gelding, however was unable to do so and NOSTOPPINTHEMUSIC found its way to the lead and she allowed it to race where it was comfortable at its own tempo. App. Steele explained that in the early stages she endeavoured to find cover, however when caught three wide early she was unable to restrain the gelding in accordance with her instructions and consequently she allowed the horse to stride forward, although she was mindful that the pace of the race may have been faster than she would have liked.
