WEATHER – FINE TRACK – SAND RAIL – TRUE

RACE 1: NATIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK QTIS MAIDEN H'CAP – 1000m

Both TOWN BALL and DOGWOOD DANCER dipped on jumping.

IMPISH PRIDE shifted out abruptly on jumping losing considerable ground, connections were advised that a warning would be placed on that gelding.

Leaving the 700m, TOWN BALL was inclined to hang in forcing both BLU INTENT and EVENING EXPRESS to race in restricted room.

Approaching the 600m, BLU INTENT shifted out forcing both EVENING EXPRESS and TOWN BALL wider on the track.

Apprentice F Critch the rider of WARNING SWITCH reported that the filly was reluctant to race through the sand and as a result was unable to take up a more forward position in the early stages.

RACE 2: MOORLANDS MACHINERY CLASS 3 H'CAP – 1200m

WINDY shifted out at the start hampering LIMO, which was slow to begin.

Shortly after the start NOR NOVA shifted out hampering WINDY.

HOT TYCOON (NZ) was forced to race wide throughout.

RACE 3: BORAL QUARRY PRODUCTS CLASS 1 H'CAP – 1000m

DAMDINI was slow to begin.

SLY TYCOON was slowly into stride.

Making the home turn CRAIGLEA LACE was disappointed for a run to the outside of CLAYMORE and to the inside of PUISSANT.

CRAIGLEA LACE was further hampered and forced to ease when tightened for room over the concluding stages by CLAYMORE, which shifted in. F Critch the rider of CLAYMORE was reprimanded in this incident.




RACE 4: CARLTON DRAUGHT LADIES BRACELET OPEN H'CAP – 1640m

Leaving the 1300m, RISING ROYAL improved to the inside of TOP SYMPHONY, which shifted in causing RISING ROYAL to be eased and shift out across that geldings heels. EXPLODER, which was racing to the inside of RISING ROYAL was also hampered in this incident. Jockey J Baker the rider of TOP SYMPHONY was severely reprimanded in this incident.

Approaching the 1200m, HELLIE MISSED was hampered and forced to ease when GUIDANCE shifted out.

RACE 5: WILLIAMS AND PARTNERS CLASS 6 H'CAP – 1200m

ROSE BONBON shifted in on jumping severely hampering PEDRO’S PRIDE in onto SKINNER’S REVENGE, which was slow to begin.

Shortly after the start MALBERRY HILL shifted out hampering both SKINNER’S REVENGE and PEDRO’S PRIDE.


ALL WINNERS WERE SWABBED.
