Supplementary Report:
As J Baker was to be overweight the following amendments were ordered:
Race 1: Annie Success: Permission to ride 1/2Kilogram overweight. (No other riders available)
Race 3: Pedro’s Knowledge: Replaced by P Lindeberg
Race 5: Another Princess: Replaced by P Lindeberg
Jockey J Baker subsequently pleaded guilty to a charge under AR120(b) and suspended for 5 weeks to commence M/N 15/10/05 and to conclude M/N 19/11/05. In assessing penalty Stewards took into account Jockey J Bakers previous infringement for this offence.

As P Lindeberg was to be overweight the following amendments were ordered:
Race 2: Keoamor: Replaced by F Okawa
Race 4: Vargna: Permission to ride 3Kilograms overweight. (Consideration given to distance travelled by trainer, wet gear and no other riders available)
Jockey P Lindeberg subsequently pleaded guilty to a charge under AR120(b) and fined to sum of $200. In accessing penalty Stewards took into account Jockey P Lindeberg’s good record.

Race 1: Onesteel/Landmark Partnership Class 6 Plate - 1200m.
CUT IT OUT and REPRENDRE were both hampered at the start by JIMMY WALASKO (NZ), which shifted out.

ANNIE SUCCESS shifted out at the start making contact with ODONATA.

Connections of ALL EXPRESS, which hung extremely wide through out, were advised that the gelding would be required to complete jump out prior to next start.
Connections of CUT IT OUT, which pulled up lame in the near fore leg, were advised that a vet certificate would be required prior to next start.

Post race vet examination of JIMMY WALASKO (NZ) failed to reveal any abnormalities.

Race 2: Onesteel/Landmark Partnership QTIS Maiden Plate - 1200m.
TINTED ARROW after being slow to begin took no further part in the race. Rider R Kerwin reported that the gelding failed to handle the extremely wet sand.

Connections of LADY ORPEN, which attempted to buck shortly after the start, were advised that the mare would be required to complete a jump out prior to next start.

KEOAMOR was forced to race wide from the 700m onwards.

Following an extremely heavy down pour during the running of this race, stewards inspected the track and ruled it safe for racing.

Race 3: Onesteel/Landmark Partnership Class B H’Cap - 1000m.
Permission was granted for D Rewald to ride CROWDED 1 Kilogram overweight due to his gear being wet.

Race 4: Onesteel/Landmark Partnership Open H’Cap - 900m.
Permission was granted for C Bryen to ride PALLADIO (NZ) 1 Kilogram overweight due to his gear being wet.

VARGNA jumped out at the start making contact with GRAND BATAAN.

Approaching the 200m, DYNAMIC DANCING shifted out causing VARGNA to be eased.

Over the concluding stages, GRAND BATAAN shifted out slightly inconveniencing RAPADAMA and PALLADIO (NZ).

Race 5: Onesteel/Landmark Partnership Class 3 H’Cap - 900m.
Permission was granted for C Bryen to ride CLAYMORE 1 Kilogram overweight due to his gear begin wet.
