Apprentice A. Butler, the rider of 4th placegetter MAGIC TWIST, pleaded guilty to a charge under AR. 137(b) of failing to ride his mount out to the finish of the race and was fined $400. After apprentice B. Richardson obtained the lead on FAMOUS CRY near the 1400m, the gelding eased of its own accord, resulting in MORE ON THE TOE (J.
