Correct weight was delayed to enable stewards, jockey A. Pattillo and trainer D. Forster the oppoortunity to view the video footage where a patron ran on to the track near the 200m. In this incident A. Pattillo claimed that his mount, GLORIOUS LADY, had been affected by the person running on to the track and had denied him the opportunity of finishing closer. After viewing the film and hearing evidence, stewards were not satisfied that the incident materially affected the placing of GLORIOUS LADY and correct weight was declared on the Judge's placings. At a subsequent inquiry stewards interviewed Club Chief Executive Mr M.
