ELROND on a seven day back-up and placed four times at Sunshine Coast but been unable to get a win, if in the finish no surprise. MAHMOA placed when fresh and finished three lengths off the winner last start at Grafton, could upset. AVERRED only able to place as favourite last start at Kilcoy on a soft track but has three placings from five runs this prep, not without each-way claims.
