RACE 1: COUTTS REDINGTON MAIDEN HANDICAP - 800 METRES - 6 Starters
Jockey O Galea was replaced on CENTURY FOX by R. Seymour due to O. Galea not being able to ride at the designated weight. O. Gales was fined the sum of $50, under Rule 145, for failing to ride at the allocated weight on CENTURY FOX.

MISTER WAFFIE was very slow leaving the starting stalls.

RACE 2: HUGHENDEN SUPERMARKET LADIES BRACELET CLASS 3 HANDICAP - 1200 METRES - 5 Starters
A pre-race swab sample was taken from REDWAY.

MISS TUI was scratched by order of the stewards due to Apprentice L. Attard's non arrival. Apprentice Attard advised the Club at approximately 10.00am on 27 July 2002 of his non attendance. Apprentice Attard will be required to produce a medical certificate.

Jockey O. Galea was fined the sum of $50 for failing to make the allocated weight on JEANIE IRENE. O. Galea was permitted to ride the horse at 1.5kg overweight as there was no other rider available.
