RACE 1: MJ CLEANERS/STANTHORPE PAINTING SERVICES MAIDEN PLATE 1000M-
1st-Charming Ally 2nd-Malibu Belle 3rd-Crafty’s Last 4th-Get ‘Em Goin’

KOROVUTO (T Banks) was tightened for room at the start between SALUTE OUR DIGGERS (A Badger) and CRAFTY’S LAST (D Robinson) which jumped out.

GET EM GOIN (B Newport) began awkwardly.

MALIBU BELLE (M Abe) raced ungenerously during the early stages of the event.

Near the 800m, SWEET SWEET LOVE jumped a discoloured portion of the track where pre-existing maintenance of the track was carried out.

LEN’S JOY (B Park) hung out badly rounding the turn near the 600m. Trainer B Park was advised that LEN’ JOY must perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial prior to next racing.

D Robinson the rider of CRAFTY’S LAST was reprimanded for striking his mount with the whip in a forehand manner in consecutive strides prior to the 100m.

RACE 2: KD A BUILDING QTIS CLASS 2 H’CAP 1000M-
1ST-Street Sister 2nd-Riviera Moss 3rd-Silverberg 4th-Embellish

The start of this race was delayed 25mins to allow for rectification work to be carried out on the track near the 800m.

SILVERBERG (D Sparks) over raced during the early stages of the event.

STREET SISTER (C Eaton) which raced wide for the majority of the event, shifted in when placed under pressure in the early stages of the home straight.


RACE 3: COUNTRY CLUB HOTEL/LIQUOR LEGENDS CLASS B 1200M-
1ST-Goody Four Shoes 2nd-Butch 3rd-Carry the Swag 4th-Chromed

TIPTOE DANCER (T Banks) began awkwardly.

BUTCH (B Newport) raced wide throughout.

ASIDE (C Eaton) improved onto heels near the 700m and was forced to ease.

CARRY THE SWAG (W O’Connell) made the home turn very wide.

ASIDE broke down badly in the near fore leg approaching the finish line. Due to the significance of the injury ASIDE was euthanised on humane grounds.


RACE 4: CENTRAL MOTORS HOLDEN STANTHORPE OPEN H’CAP 1000M-
1st-Savage 2nd-Ima Joker 3rd-Release Me 4th-Military Way

IMA JOKER (C Eaton) began awkwardly.

RELEASE ME (A Badger) raced wide without cover throughout the event.

Near the 250, FOREST REDGUM (D Sparks) was eased to avoid the heels of IMA JOKER which shifted out to obtain clear running.

RACE 5:JIM’S MOWING/EEMUIR & SON PTY LTD BENCHMARK 65 H’CAP 1400M-
1ST-Pipers Point 2nd-Bernadecio 3rd-Major Cash 4th-Johnny Aucash

No Racing Incidents.
App. B Newport was fined $300 for having in possession a safety vest which had been modified. In assessing penalty stewards were of the view that the vest was not modified in an attempt to gain any weight advantage.
