GENERAL
GENERAL: This meeting was conducted under the conditions of the Queensland Community Racing Scheme (QCRS). No Bookmakers or Photo Finish operated at this meeting. All starts were by means of a flag fall All riders who competed were licensed Approved Riders. All prizes were in the form of trophies only.

Race 1: COLEMAN STOCK FEED MAIDEN PLATE. (Set Weights). 800 Metres. ( 8 Starters).
1st - I’VE GOT STYLE 2nd - HAPPY HOOLIGAN 3rd - SMIKTHIES MILLIONS 4th - JAZMINE

SONDRINGHAM (D. Bannister) and OUTBACK THRILL (K. Connolly) were both very slowly away from the walk up start and lost considerable ground. JAZMINE (S. McIntosh) raced erratically and rounded the home turn wide.


Race 2: TOPX RESTRICTED TROPHY 2 (Set Weights). 800 Metres. (6 Starters).
1st – ISABELLA ESTHER 2nd - FRAARDALA 3rd - LITTLE FEATHER 4th - SUPERMATIVE

FRAARDALA (K. Connolly) raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 3: THE LOGAN FAMILY RESTRICTED TROPHY 3. (Set Weights) 1000 Metres. ( 8 Starters).
1st - LA TOMATINA 2nd - WESTERN RUN 3rd - OCTA DUCK 4th - SOVEREIGN PEAK

OCTA DUCK (T. Delahunty) was slow away and raced wide rounding the home turn. WESTERN RUN (K. Connolly) raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 4: BERYL OPEN TROPHY RACE. (Set Weights). 800 metres. ( 7 Starters).
1st - OUR BALLET DANCER 2nd - PALOLO DEEP 3rd - ZATHURA 4th - WELL EQUIPPED .

At the 600 metre turn WELL EQUIPPED (D. Bannister) shifted inwards onto TRIBAL SON (A. McIntosdh).

SPURS ’N’ ROSES (B. Sheard) and FIERY SEAS (D.Owens) raced wide rounding the 600 metre turn.

Race 5: TOWER HILL HILL BRACELET. OPEN TROPHY RACE, Set Weights. 1400 Metres. ( 7 Starters).
1st - VONMARKNDUNC 2nd - FRAAREVA 3rd - YAMADO 4th - PIKESTAFF.


A Veterinary Certificate under the terms of AR 45B, (Horses aged 12 years and over), was provided in respect of YAMADO , and also FRAAREVA allowing that gelding and mare to start in the race.

TEXAS FLOOD (T. Delahunty) and PIKESTAFF (B. Sheard) both were slowly away and each raced wide in the middle stages.

FRAARCAS (A. McIntosh) over raced at the 500 metres.

Race 6: . G. & J. HETHERINGTON RESTRICTED TROPHY 4. (Set Weights). 1000 Metres. ( 6 Starters)
1st - BURRA ACTIOIN 2nd - MEDIUM “N’ RARE 3rd - TORPEDO RUN 4th - MAJESTIC TIME.

IT’S JUST SMALL TALK (B. Sheard) was slowly away losing considerable ground and then raced wide rounding
the home turn.

MAJESTIC TIME (T. Delahunty) was taken wide near the 200 metres when making a run in order to avoid heavy dust coming from the track.

Race 7: A. E. RICHARDSON OPEN TROPHY RACE (Set Weights). 1000 Metres. Division “A “.
(6 Starters).
1st - TAUPIN 2nd - KOMO LAD 3rd - ABAGNALE 4th - ALMAVALE.

THIS RACE WAS DIVIDED INTO TWO DIVISIONS OWING TO ELEVEN ACCEPTORS ASND ONLY EIGHT RIDERS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE MEETING.

A Veterinary Certificate under the terms of AR 45B, (Horses aged 12 years and over), was provided in respect of ABAGNALE and STAR ANCHOR allowing those geldings to start in the race.

ALMAVALE (D. Bannister) was fractious prior to the score up and reared up and fell to the ground. The mare was fit to start and took its place in the field. After the race the rider complained of a sore right foot and was treated by the oncourse Ambulance. He forwent the engagement he had in race eight. An Incident Report has been furnished.

MISS CHANCESXAAR (D. Owens) and STAR ANCHOR (R. Williams) both raced wide rounding the home turn.


Race 8: A. E. RICHARDSON OPEN TROPHY RACE (Set Weights). 1000 Metres. Division “B “.
(6 Starters).
1st - NAVILLUS PICAL 2nd - NGAN DAA BAA 3rd - STAR REVUNDO 4th - TOTARA LASS

A Veterinary Certificate under the terms of AR 45B, (Horses aged 12 years and over), was provided in respect of STAR REVUNDO, allowing that gelding to start in the race.

D. Bannister was engaged as the rider of NAVILLUS PICAL however he became indisposed following an injury he received in rA

Race Seven. He was replaced by jockey K. Connolly.

NAVILLUS PICAL (K. Connolly) and STAR REVUNDO each raced wide rounding the home turn.
