WEATHER – Fine TRACK – Dirt
RACE 1: PACIFIC TREES CLASS 6 H'CAP – 1400M.
WILKES’ JOY jumped away awkwardly hampering A DOLLAR which was slow to begin.
LADY HUMOUR was slow to begin.
WILKES’ JOY raced ungenerously in the early stages of the event.
RACE 2: WESFARMERS LANDMARK MAIDEN H’CAP 1000M
STEEL STARS was inclined to hang out in the early stages of the event
Approaching the 300m, GUBBINGAR, which took a run to the inside of TONAGLEAM had to be checked when TONAGLEAM rolled back to the fence. Jockey P Clarke, the rider of TONAGLEAM was reprimanded in this incident.
CHUBASCO was unable to obtain clear running from the 300m until passing the winning post.
STEEL STARS, which was inspected by the clubs vet after the running of the event sustained bruising to the offside flank during the event.
RACE 3: PRIMAC ELDERS CLASS 4 H’CAP 1200M
MORITASSIE got its’ head up shortly after the start and lost ground.
TIMED IT WELL, which was racing in restricted room approaching 650m, had to be eased and lost ground.
MORITASSIE was inconvenienced slight over the concluding stages by IN A TRANCE which shifted out.
RACE 4: GRANT DANIEL LONG CLASS 2 H’CAP 1400M
SMILEY BABY and KEY TO DANCING were both slow to begin.
RACE 5: STORMBREAKER OPEN H’CAP 1400M
SEABAS was slow to begin.
ALL WINNERS WERE SWABBED.
