RACE 1: DAWSON VALLEY ROAD HOUSE CLASS 6 H'CAP – 1000m

PIRATE’S DEN jumped in the air at the start.

Leaving the 800 meters RAW AND RACY shifted in resulting in PASSING TIME easing momentarily.


RACE 2: ISLA DOWNS CLASS 1 H'CAP – 1000m

At the start SMARTINGLY jumped awkwardly losing considerable ground.


RACE 3: JOCELYN JERRARD TAROOM CUP OPEN H'CAP – 1400m

Acting on medical advice R Kerwin was replaced by L McCoy as the rider of POVERTY ROAD.

Darren Rewald was substituted as the rider for TOPICS as J Oakes was unable to fulfil the engagement.

The declaration of correct weight was delayed for the alleged malfunction of the starting mechanism. After taking statements from jockey M Evans, apprentice Y Yamazaki and the starter Mr R Bradshaw, correct weight was declared under ARR 134.


RACE 4: PIONEER BUILDING SOCIETY QTIS MAIDEN H'CAP – 1200m

ASSENTING was slow to begin.

Approaching the 400 meters WATCHER RUN which had continued to hang out from the 1000 meters forced BUZZ SAW deeper onto the track and easing of the heals off the heals of SLY TYCOON.

ATTAINE also commenced to hang out at the 350 meters when held up for clear running.


RACE 5: MAL & TRICIA WILLIAMS CLASS 4 H'CAP – 1200m
