Race 1: Propest Biloela QTIS Maiden Hcp- 1075 Metres
1st – Midnight Stalker 2nd – Sunday Saga 3rd – Hot Plate 4th- All Bar The Jewels

S McGovern was permitted to replace Scott McCullum (injured) as the rider of SIR PILGRIM.
ALL BAR THE JEWELS (S Sheargold) was slow into stride.
SAVANNAHZEES was tightened at the start as SIR PILGRIM (S McGovern) jumped outwards and FIRE BURNING (I Coombes) jumped inwards.
Approaching the 800 mtr turn PEPPERMINT SAGE (App E Ljung) shifted outwards and made contact with LUCKY LUCKWOOD (J Stephens).

Race 2: Hutchinson Builders Open - 1075 Metres
1st – Direct Debit 2nd – Apache Pup 3rd – Otango 4th – Liberty Tycoon

Stewards replaced App J King with I Coombes as the rider of FLIGHT COMMAND as App J King could not make the allotted weight. Stewards fined App J King $100.00 for accepting a ride for which he was unable to make the weight.
BETTER NOT DOUBT (K Gates) was slow into stride.
OTANGO (C Pye) raced wide during the middle stages.
BETTER NOT DOUBT raced wide over the concluding stages.

Race 3: Biloela Betta Home Living Benchmark 65 Hcp - 1200 Metres
1st – Wooden Eye Joe 2nd – Rishona 3rd – Vain Dazzler 4th – Bjorn

Stewards approved App E Ljung to replace injured S McCullum as the rider of MOSCOW.
Stewards permitted App J King to ride VAIN DAZZLER 1Kg overweight as no other suitable rider was available. Stewards fined App J King $100.00 for accepting a ride for which he could not make the allotted weight.

Approaching the 500 mtr point COLD COLLECT (App S Alam) shifted inwards which resulted in BAGGER BONES ( S Sheargold) having to be eased. App S Alam was reprimanded in that he allowed his mount to shift inwards when insufficiently clear of BAGGER BONES.
NORDIC WARRIOR (App N Ogura) raced wide over the concluding stages.

Race 4: Lee Crane Hire Benchmark 55 Hcp - 1600 Metres
1st – Cyclone Steve 2nd – Bolts’N’Holts 3rd – The Pantz 4th – Just For Keeps

DANE FIRE (K Gates) jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start rider K gates was dislodged. At the conclusion of the event K Gates applied to stewards to have DANE FIRE declared a non-runner on the grounds she was denied a fair start due to the barrier gate not opening in unison. After interviewing starters, Jockey K Gates and viewing the patrol film stewards were of the opinion the DANE FIRE had been denied a fair start and subsequently declared DANE FIRE a non-runner. Prior to the declaration of correct weight stewards ordered that all monies wagered on DANE FIRE to be refunded and deductions of 16c in the win and 14c in the place apply on the face value of the ticket.

Approaching the 350mtr point JUST FOR KEEPS (L Dillon) clipped the heels of COOL CALL ( J Stephens) and lost ground after JUST FOR KEEPS advanced to the inside of COOL CALL in preparation for a run.

On return to scale J Devine lodged an objection to the judges semaphored placing’s of first past the post CYCLONE STEVE and fourth past the post JUST FOR KEEPS. After taking evidence from all parties, viewing the patrol film and acting on their own observations stewards dismissed the objection and declared correct weight on 1st CYCLONE STEVE, 4th JUST FOR KEEPS.

Race 5: Barnes Landscaping &Plant Hire Benchmark 60 Hcp - 800 Metres
1st – Bagger Chance 2nd – Apache Sox 3rd – Romana Miss 4th – Superb Effort

Prior to the event NISEKO GOLD was examined by the club veterinarian and passed fit to start. Stewards approved I Coombes to ride FRAHA to replace App A Van Der Sanden.

BAGGER CHANCE (App E Ljung) was slow into stride.
APACHE SOX (L Dillon) jumped outwards and made contact with GUILETTA (App S Alam).
NORTHERN SHIFT (C Pye) jumped inwards and made contact with HIDDEN LUCK ( App J King).
Shortly after the start NISEKO GOLD (S McGovern) shifted outwards and made contact with THE SNIP (S Sheargold).

Over the concluding stages SUPERB EFFORT(K Gates) shifted outwards and applied pressure to GUILETTA (App S Alam) and ME FAST TOO (App N Ogura)
