SUPPLEMENTRY REPORT

Stewards permitted app jockey J.King to ride .5kg over his allotted weight in races 2 and 3.
Jockey M.Barnham 2kg in race 2 over his allotted weight. Jockey M. Abe .5kg over his allotted weight in race 3 when no other suitable riders were available.

Race 1: JEFF SEENEY QTIS CLASS 2 HCP - 1075 metres

CRAIGLEA SEAL - Slow to begin.

HAYYLER’S DRAGON - Slow to begin.

CHAMPAGNE WILLIE - Over raced early and middle stages.

MISS NOTE - Held up for clear running from the 200m.


Race 2: ‘BAUHINIA’ CLASS B HCP - 1300 metres

INCOMING CALL - Slow to begin, approaching the 1000m had to be eased to avoid the heels of another runner.

MAGIC TWIST - Approaching the 1000m shifted in abruptly, Jockey M.Abe was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground in similar circumstances.


Race 3: ‘KILBURNIE’ THE CELEBRATION OPEN HCP - 1300 metres

App J. King rider of WILLYWYNYA was fined $100 for excessive whip use in a backhand manner.

No Racing Incidents.


Race 4: ‘CALLIDE BENCHMARK 60 HCP - 1600 metres

TRACKER - Slow to begin. Over raced early stages and laid in under pressure over the final 150m.

TELESIUS - Raced wide the majority.

COAL COMMAND - Laid in over the final 200m.


Race 5: ‘CURTIS ISLAND’ MAIDEN PLATE - 800 metres

THE GREYMOUTH GIRL - Began awkwardly.

HALLE CAT - Hung out the majority.

CALL ME CARLOS - At the 300m brushed the running rail and became unbalanced.


Race 6: ‘’SANTOS GLING’ BENCHMARK 70 HCP - 800 metres

The start of this race was delayed when RATTLE ‘N’ RUN broke through the barriers and after going a short distance was restrained. Subsequently RATTLE ‘N’ RUN underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start.

ROSE OF MAYHEM - Shifted in abruptly on jumping away bumping another runner.

RATTLE ‘N’ RUN - Tightened on jumping away and lost ground.

BOTH EARS - Tightened on jumping away, steadied at the 300m when crowded for room.
