RACING
RACE 1 CLASS 1 HCP. 1300 METRES - (4 STARTERS): At the start GREY COMMANDER (B. Appo) jumped outwards making contact with QUARRIAN (D. Rewald).

LIFTALA (J. Oakes) was slow to begin.

Over the concluding stages LIFTALA was inclined to shift out under pressure resulting in GREY COMMANDER having to alter course.

RACE 2 OPEN HCP. 1300 METRES - (7 STARTERS): Nothing to report.

RACE 3 CLASS 6 HCP. 1000 METRES - (6 STARTERS): Approaching the 250 metres DUGCARO (A. Hodder) commenced to shift out under pressure crowding the running of FINAL MOUSE (B. Appo) which resulted in BRILYNTON having to be steadied momentarily.

A Hodder rider of DUGCARO reported to Stewards that his mount became unbalanced at the 300 metres and then compounded badly.

Mr. Kapernick the trainer of FINAL MOUSE was fined the sum of $50 for an infringement of AR56b in that he failed to enact the transfer for that mare.

RACE 4 MAIDEN HCP. 1000 METRES - (4 STARTERS):. LLOYD’S SECRECT (B. Appo) jumped awkwardly resulting in that horse being to slow to muster early speed.

Approaching the 700 metres LLOYD’S SECRET commenced to race wide.

RACE 5 CLASS 2 HCP. 1000 METRES – (4 STARTERS): At the start KNUCKLE UP (B. Appo) jumped inwards making contact with KEEPING THE FIZZ (P. Moodie) who in turn shifted in onto ZEDRINA (J. Oakes).

Approaching the 200 metre KNUCKLE UP (B. Appo) was inclined to shift out when placed under pressure.

RACE 6 CLASS 4 HCP. 1000 METRES – (6 STARTERS): APOLLO PRINCESS (J. Oakes) jumped awkwardly.

GET YOUR MAN (B. Appo) was slow to begin.

LINACRE BOY (E. Heinemann) jumped outwards.

Approaching the 250 metre mark TOUGH DEAL (P. Moodie) was disappointed for a run which resulted in that gelding having to be restrained and alter course.

BOOKMAKERS: One (1) bookmakers fielded at the race meeting.

SWABBING: All winners were swabbed and the samples obtained were forwarded to the Racing Science Centre for routine analysis.
