MACKAY TURF CLUB, SATURDAY 4TH APRIL 2009:
Race 2 - Robert Peel Jewellers MaidenPlate 1250m:
Stewards today inquired into an incident near the 1100 metres. After taking evidence from Jockey P. Cullen, the rider of SIR ECHO, and Jockey I. Fry, the rider of ABINDAH, and viewing the official patrol films, stewards established that at about the 1100 metres SIR ECHO blundered when tightened for room between ABINDAH and TWO JACKS (C. Eaton) which was taken out slightly by LEICA ZED (J. Felix), which was inclined to hang out. As stewards were of the opinion that no single rider was responsible for the incident, no action was taken.
