SHE’S ALL OURS then galloped for a considerable distance and, acting on veterinary advice, stewards ordered the withdrawal of the filly at 1.32 p.m. Subsequently they ordered that all bets made on SHE’S ALL OURS be refunded in full and that the following deductions apply:

Stewards acceded to a request by trainer D. Robinson to allow CRAIGLEA ZETA to race with a tongue-tie today. Public announcements were made accordingly.
When Jockey A. Pattillo was unable to fulfil his engagement for CRAIGLEA ZETA due to a misunderstanding, Jockey D. Hayse was substituted.
On jumping, LADY GRAND (G. Kliese) shifted in and made contact with THAT’S HOW WE ROLL (M. Elliott), which lost ground.
In the middle stages CRAIGLEA ZETA raced greenly.
At about the 600 metres OUR GEORGIA’S ROSE (App. J. Kuskopf) hung out resulting in NATURAL GAL (A. Dykes), which was racing to its outside , clipping heels and dislodging its rider, Jockey A. Dykes. Trainer R. Baker informed stewards that OUR GEORGIA’S ROSE had hung out in a similar fashion at its previous start. Mr Baker was advised that that the mare must perform to the satisfaction of stewards in a jump-out before being permitted to race again. Stewards requested that Mr Baker engage a senior rider for the mare in its future race starts.
Near the 500 metres THAT’S HOW WE ROLL was tightened for room, had to be eased and lost ground when COUNTRY CULTURE (A. Coome), which had been laying in, shifted in.
For the majority of the home straight SEQUALO SUZIE (C. Whiteley) had a tendency to lay in.
Near the 150 metres TOP DECISION (F. Edwards) improved onto the heels of LADY GRAND (G. Kliese) and had to be steadied. A short distance later, TOP DECISION was again steadied when disappointed for a run between OUR GEORGIA’S ROSE and BEKINDTOYOURMOTHER (W. D’Avila), which shifted out.
When questioned as to the performance of LADY GRAND, Jockey G. Kliese stated that at its first-up start 10 days ago the mare raced very keenly and as such, prior to today’s race had been placed in a trial. Jockey Kliese was of the view that LADY GRAND had failed to handle the quick back-up following its most recent race start and the trial between runs. Trainer W. Kenning informed stewards that the mare will be sent for an immediate spell. Trainer advised stewards that horse will be spelled.

A post-race veterinary examination of NO IMAGINATION revealed that the gelding had been galloped on and had sustained superficial lacerations to the near hind leg.
Race 4: – Summer Sunday Session 15 December Class 1 Handicap – 1200 metres
1st – MAINSHAFT 2nd – JAYHAWK 3rd – WOOLGAR ROAD 4th – CARE TO SHARE
When Jockey M. Elliott, the declared rider for MARK ME OLEE became indisposed and unable to fulfil his engagement, and no other suitable rider was available, stewards permitted Jockey A. Pattillo was substituted and permitted to ride the colt ½ kg overweight. Jockey Elliott was advised that he must furnish a medical clearance prior to being permitted to ride again.

Shortly after the start JAYHAWK (F. Edwards) shifted in and made contact with MAINSHAFT (App. E. Ljung)
In the early part of the straight HEART OF STRENGTH (I. Toward) was held up and unable to obtain clear running.
Over the concluding stges SEVEN SAGAS (D. Hayse) shifted out under pressure and bumped SWEET ASA ROSE (App. B. Swaffer). As a consequence App. Swaffer was obliged to stop riding and steady SWEET ASA ROSE.
MARK ME OLEE (A. Pattillo) and MAINSHAFT raced wide throughout.
When questioned as to the disappointing performance of DANCING HUSSAR, App. S. Wiseman stated that after being slow to begin the gelding failed to muster early speed, contrary to its most recent start. App. Wiseman said that the gelding travelled well throughout the event, however when placed under pressure leaving the 400 metres DANCING HUSSAR responded to her riding only fairly. A post-race veterinary examination of DANCING HUSSAR did not reveal any abnormalities.
App. B. Swaffer was reprimanded under A.R. 137A(5)(ii) for using his whip on SWEET ASA ROSE in a forehand manner more than 5 times prior to the 100 metres.
Race 5: – Classic Coffee Company Handicap – 1200 metres
1st – BAR ATTACK 2nd – MAGIC COUNTRY 3rd – STEEL DRAGON 4th – GENERAL RIPPA
When Jockey M. Elliott was indisposed, Jockey I. Toward was substituted as the rider of PEOPLE’S CHOICE.
BAR ATTACK was slow into stride.
In the early and middle stages PEOPLE’S CHOICE (I. Toward) over-raced.
In the early stages GENERAL RIPPA (W. D’Avila) when being restrained to obtain a position with cover, over-raced, was disappointed for a run between STAUNCH NORTH and BAR ATTACK and as a result was forced to steady.
Approaching the 800 metres PEOPLE’S CHOICE which continued to over-race, shifted out marginally. As a consequence FOUR IRON (App. S. Wiseman), which also was over-racing, improved into a narrow run to the inside of PEOPLE’S CHOICE and made contact with the hindquarters of that runner, which resulted in STAUNCH NORTH (D. Hayse), which was racing to the outside of PEOPLE’S CHOICE, being obliged to race three wide thereafter.
GENERAL RIPPA (W. D’Avila) raced wide throughout.

MOROSSA (App. S. Wiseman) and GOLDEN PAPILLON (F. Edwards) made contact on jumping.
SECRET STEALTH (G. Kliese) was slow into stride.
Near the 200 metres SECRET STEALTH (G. Kliese) shifted out under pressure and made contact with JUST HUSTLED (App. J. Kuskopf).
GOLDEN PAPILLON raced wide throughout.
When questioned as to the tactics adopted on FRENCH LESSON, Jockey A. Pattillo stated that the gelding did not show its customary speed from the barriers and consequently was forced to race three wide behind LIGHT WARRIOR (J. P. Stanley). When LIGHT WARRIOR shifted in closer to the running rail FRENCH LESSON was still obliged to race three wide, as a result of GOLD TROJAN (W. D’Avila) improving to his inside. Jockey Pattillo added that FRENCH LESSON then failed to muster sufficient speed to improve around LIGHT WARRIOR and take up a position outside COMIC RULER (C. Whiteley) leaving the 1000 metres. As such he elected to allow FRENCH LESSON to travel comfortably in a three wide position. Jockey Pattillo further added that FRENCH LESSON was able to finish the race off well, despite traveling three wide throughout. After viewing the patrol footage stewards noted Jockey Pattillo’s explanation.

Rowe advised that as the gelding was having its first start for his stable, he was not able to explain the disappointing performance of GO AMIGO at its most recent start, at Townsville on 24th September.
