Race 1: Robert O’Sullivan & Family Restricted Trophy 1 Handicap- 800 metres
1st GOLD MACHINE 2nd ALSOUQ 3rd PLAY FOR LILY

PLAY FOR LILY (D Whitmore) jumped awkwardly.

ALSOUQ (T Bannon) raced wide throughout.

GOLD MACHINE (S Cooke) became unbalanced around the 200m corner.

Race 2: Clermont Concrete Restricted Trophy 4 Handicap- 800 metres
1st FASTER BUSTER 2nd TOY HERO 3rd GIVE IM ZA

JACK THE SNAKE (S Cooke) stood flat footed. Approaching the 600m JACK THE SNAKE was inclined to hang out and failed to finish.
Trainer John Manzelmann was advised that JACK THE SNAKE would be required to pass and Official Barrier Trial prior the gelding’s next start.

At approximately the 50m TOYHERO (T Bannon) shifted out under pressure and bumped GIVE IM ZA (D Whitmore).

Race 3: Disney QTIS Maiden Plate - 1000 metres
1st– ROCKET A GOGO 2nd – RAY JOAN 3rd FRISCO ROCKET 4th- TAIYO SILVER AWAY

Both FRISCO ROCKET (T Bannon) and TAIYO SILVER AWAY (S Cooke) were both slow away.

ROCKET A GOGO (A Coome) raced wide throughout.

Prior to the start of the event the Chairman attempted to contact the starter on numerous occasions to alert him that both FRISCO ROCKET (T Bannon) and ROCKET A GOGO (A Coome) had been placed in the incorrect barrier, however the start was effected. Prior to correct weight being declared stewards spoke to both riders and the starter Mr Tim Madders.
It was established that both riders had voiced their concerns with the starter regarding their barrier positions but the starter was of the opinion they were in their correct barriers and the race was started. Stewards were satisfied that this incident did not materially affect the outcome of the race therefore correct weight was declared. The starter was reminded of his duties.

Race 4: Bulliwallah Restricted Trophy 6 Handicap- 1000 metres
1st COCO LOCO 2nd CRACK A SMILE 3rd PERFECT HUSSEY 4th – SHOT BAR

CRACK A SMILE (S Cooke) was slow away.

Approaching the 150m SHOT BAR (D Whitmore) was inclined to lay out and tighten PERFECT HUSSEY (A Coome) at the same time CRACK A SMILE has lay in and tightened PERFECT HUSSEY.

Race 5: Mount Douglas Ladies Bracelet - 1200 metres
1st IL CARDINALE 2nd SARBI 3rd BOLTON ABBEY 4th- MISS PHROMILY

Trainer John Manzelmann advised stewards that if possible SARBI (T Bannon) would be ridden closer.

MISS PHROMILY (S Cooke) was slow away.
