RACE 1: Grey Gal (G.Geran) was slow into stride. Sir Sidna (M.Allen) jumped awkwardly. Raw Kismet (T.Ikenushi) raced greenly during the middle stages of the race. Leica Narrow (A.Parramore) hung outward on the 800m turn having to be eased off the heels of Timed It Well (K.Yoshida). Leica Narrow continued to race greenly rounding the home turn. On returning to scale was reported the gelding had its tongue over the bit throughout, attention trainer. Time off 3.57 pm.
RACE 2: Apprentice (R.Pittman) replaced Apprentice (C.Taylor) Coolawin as he failed to arrive on course after riding at another venue, warning. Starry Avalanche (B.Swanton) and Ready To Raw (A.Parramore) were both factious in the barrier. Marauding Lass (S.Shield) was held up for a run in the early part of the straight behind El Be Double You (R. Goltz). Marauding Lass shifted inwards over the concluding stages slightly hampering Ready To Raw (A.Parramore). Time off 4.37 pm.
RACE 3: Packsynd (G.Geran) was relucting to load then was factious in the barrier, attention trainer. Mister Squealer (G.Lynch) and Mandora (S.Apthorpe) were both slow into stride. Approaching the 850m as the pace steadied Packsynd (G.Geran) had to steady off the heels of Tellurian (L.Karklis) which inturn hampered Mister Squealer causing the latter to be steadied. Approaching the 350m High Old Time (S.Shiled) was held up behind Mandora (S.Apthorpe). Approaching the 250 meters High Old Time had to be steadied of the heels Packsynd which shifted inward and continued inward crowding Mandora (S.Apthorpe), Jockey G Geran was issued with a caution. Time off 5.15 pm.
RACE 4: Just Gus (K.Yoshida) was relucting to load and factious in the barrier, then jumped awkwardly, being slow into stride, attention trainer. Zeus Thunder Bolt (G.Geran) and McGill (J.Warrington) were both slow into stride. Approaching the 900m Quick Love (M.Stephens) struck the fence whilst being crowed by Halls Creek (C.Taylor). Approaching the 800m Zeus Thunder Bolt whilst racing greenly with it’s head in the air shifted in and way from the heels of Miss Chauvel (S.Shiled), in doing so severely inconvenienced Halls Creek (C.Taylor) which lost ground and made contact with the hindquarters of Quick Love (M.Stephens). Rounding the home turn apprentice (M.Sharpley) Smoochie Smooch was severely reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift outward hampering Miss Crabopple (A.Parramore) which in turn inconvenienced Quick Love resulting in the latter having to be steadied. Time off 5.55 pm.
RACE 5: Classic Frontier (T.Ikenushi) was factious in the barrier, then slow into stride. Eduardo (B.Swanton) was slow into stride. Hot Promise (K.Yoshida) jumped awkwardly. Jake’s The Man (M.Stephens) jumped on terms, but was slow into stride. Over the concluding stages Homme De Fer (G.Geran) shifted inward under pressure crowding London Lass (S.Shield). Time off 6.35 pm.
RACE 6: Bandaly (D.Hutchins) was withdrawn by order of the stewards acting on Vets advise at 7.02 pm. Deductions 3cents and 3cents 33/1. Connections were advised a Vet inspection prior to it’s next start. The gelding was withdrawn due to having blood in one nostril. Spinout (T.Unwin) jumped awkwardly. Mrs. O’Be (M.Stephens) was extremely fractious in the barrier, then jumped awkwardly, attention trainer, caution. Approaching the 900m Spinout rolled outward making contact with Galpanoah (K.Yoshida). Rounding the home turn and early in the straight Aunty Bess (P.Gesler) was held up behind Spinout and Galpanoah. Time off 7.07 pm.
RACE 7: Pearl Fisher (D.Green) was reluctant to load causing a minor delay. Aquilo (S.Apthorpe) was fractious in the barrier, jumped inward making contact with Pearl Fisher. Tele Series (A.Gould) jumped outward coming in contact with Pitterac resulting the latter being slow into stride. Approaching the 300m Aquilo rolled outward at the same time Silverthorne (K.Yoshida) rolled inward making heavy contact resulting in the rider of Silverthorne loosing his off side iron momentarily. Approaching the 100m Great Expectations (N.Tomizawa) shifted inward under pressure making g contact with Aquilo (S.Apthorpe) which in turn went in crowded and made contact with Not Another (T.Unwin). Apprentice N Tomizawa was advised to exercise more care when his mount was shifting ground. Time off 7.45 pm.
