RACE: 1. At the start Blazing Lap (K Yoshida) was hampered between Afraid (P Wolfgram) which jumped out and Make A Mark (N Spencer). Great Expectations (A Parramore) which was slowly away was inclined to lie in over the concluding stages. Leaving the 950 meters Afraid which was over-racing got its head up whilst being eased. Shortly after Afraid shifted in and made contact with Blazing Lap. Booligar (S Shield) which was slowly away got its head up and was inclined to lie out whilst being eased from heels approaching the 800 meters. Afraid laid in under pressure leaving the 200 meters. Time off 3.57 PM.

RACE: 2. Jockey B Appo (Bally Girl) who was dislodged in the parade yard appeared to escape any apparent injury. Bally Girl was slowly away. Aquilo (G Lynch) and Holiday Fun (R Pittman) made contact on jumping. Shortly after the start Black Top (S Shield) was steadied when Greek Edition (L Morrison) shifted in. Leaving the 800 meters Cosmic Comet (J Taylor) was steadied when momentarily crowded for room by Black Top which shifted in whilst racing keenly. Aquilo laid out in the middle stages. Leaving the 500 meters Black Top shifted out and made contact with Holiday Fun. Shortly after Black Top was eased from the heels of Greek Edition. On the home turn Bally Girl was taken wide by Cosmic Comet. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of Black top. Jockey S Shield stated that he was satisfied how his mount was travelling in the middle stages but once placed under pressure approaching the home turn his mount failed to respond, explanation noted. Time off 4.37 PM.

RACE: 3. Forest Sprite (M Dorrington) which was fractious reared as the gates opened losing considerable ground. Magadi (R Pittman) jumped awkwardly and out. Shortly after Hiquoz (S Shield) shifted in and made contact with Magadi. Jockey J Warrington (Rapparee) was reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift in near the 1000 meters when insufficiently clear of Hiquoz resulting in Hiquoz being eased when taken in. Hiquoz then got its head up for some distance. Near the 250 meters Redoroa (D Green) and Magadi made contact. Approaching the finish Plum's Gamble (K Yoshida) and Redoroa made contact. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of Forest Sprite. Jockey M Dorrington stated that after missing the start his mount was reluctant to race throughout. M Dorrinton also stated that Forest Sprite had performed poorly in a barrier trial when he has played up in the barriers, explanation noted. A subsequent Veterinary inspection revealed that the gelding was showing signs of soreness. Connections were advised that a Veterinary certificate was required for Forest Sprite prior to his next start. Time off 5.15 PM.

RACE: 4. Singing Victory (B Carne), Purple Hand (K Yoshida) and Gold Pulse (J Lait) were very fractious in the barriers. Singing Victory jumped in the air as the gates opened losing considerable ground. Vainqueur (G Geran) which was slowly away laid in over the concluding stages. Approaching the 600 meters Who's My Dad (A Parramore) which was taken out by Gold Pulse made contact with Purple Hand. On the home turn Who's My Dad was steadied from the heels of Ell Harmoney (D Hutchins) which shifted out marginally. Singing Victory returned to the parade yard with blood in its mouth. When questioned about the disappointing performance of Who's My Dad? Jockey A Parramore stated that he could not offer any excuse for his mount disappointing performance. Time off 5.55 PM.

RACE: 5. Audrey Ann (W Orbell) and Jet Soon (J Taylor) made contact on jumping. Approaching the 1250 meters Star Gambler (S Shield) got its head up whilst being eased. Approaching the home turn Liftala (N Tomizawa) was taken wide by Chariot's Isle (G Geran) which was taken out by Imperial Bound (A Parramore). Near the 250 meters Imperial Bound shifted in and made contact with Jet Soon. Chariot's Isle shifted in over the concluding stages. Time off 6.35 PM.

RACE: 6. Ena's Treasure (N Tomizawa) jumped in the air as the gates opened, losing ground. Gorilla's Galore (B Swanton) and Belle Du Jour (S Katsidis) made contact on jumping. Belle Du Jour dipped leaving the 550 meters. On the point of the home turn Oh Blue Angel (M Aspinall) shifted out and made contact with Gorilla's Galore. Time off 7.07 PM.

RACE: 7. Flash Fred which sustained a minor laceration to a nostril, whilst being transported to the course was cleared by the Veterinary surgeon to start. Palazzio (J Taylor) jumped out and made contact with Arctic Runner (T Banks). Near the 850 meters Arctic Runner was reluctant to hold its position between Barbarians (S Katsidis) and Mia Piper (S Shield) when crowded for room. Approaching the home turn Embezzled (G Lynch) was held up for clear running. Time off 7.43 PM.

All winners were swabbed.
