RACE 1: OAKEY ELECTRICAL ENTIRES & GELDINGS MAIDEN H'CAP - 900M.

N. Evans (SOMETHING FOR KATE) replaced J. Warrington who failed to arrive on course by the required time. J. Warrington was subsequently fined the sum of $50.00.

At the start MILITARIUS, URAGAN, KENJABAR and SHADOW HUNTER were hampered between MERVYN, which jumped in and MARJORIE'S HOPE, which jumped out. As a consequence MILITARIUS lost ground.

Leaving the 100m A. Lane (RABBUNI) was obliged to stop riding when his mount was inclined to lie in.

MARJORIE'S HOPE returned to scale minus the off-hind plate.

There was a delay to correct weight due to A. Lane (RABBUNI) and connections requesting to view the photo finish print. The print subsequently confirmed the judge's decision and correct weight was declared.

Time off: 3.47 pm.

RACE 2: OAKEY ABATTOIR PTY LTD FILLIES & MARES MAIDEN H'CAP - 900M.

At the start GIMME SHELTER was hampered between SILMONT, which jumped in and BREN HELENA, which jumped out.

KWILA ROSE was slow into stride.

BLUE BIJOU was slowly away.

Leaving the 550m SILMONT, which shifted in was steadied from heels shortly after.

Leaving the 400m MAYNE DEGREE was steadied when momentarily cramped for room by GINA FLASH, which was taken in marginally by AYESKA, which
was lying in.

Time off:4.27 pm.

RACE 3: JONDARYAN HOTEL CLASS 6 H'CAP - 900M.

Trainer K Pattillo was fined the sum of $50 for failing to declare the riders for TURF TIGER and SHOOD BE SPEEDY by the required time.

SIMPLY BEST was slowly away.

COUNT JESTER jumped awkwardly and in.

Shortly after the start ROMAN COUNTY, which shifted in and away from LET FLY, made contact with MINSKY.

Near the 800m MINSKY was steadied when tightened for room between ROMAN COUNTY and COUNT JESTER which shifted out.

Time off: 5.07 pm.

RACE 4:MCGRATH TOYOTA 2-Y-O MAIDEN H’CAP - 1100M.

Following further rain the track was down graded from dead to slow at 5.18 p.m.

Apprentice A Ware (ARMAMENT) replaced D Gay. Stewards accepted the explanation of trainer M Lakey why D Gay was declared as the rider of ARMAMENT.

S. Richardson was dislodged from PUBLIC EYE behind the barriers. S. Richardson was not injured in the incident.

BLUE PISTOL, which was fractious in the barriers, sprung the front gates. BLUE PISTOL was quickly restrained and cleared to take its place in the field.

BLUE PISTOL and THEATRE ROSE were slowly away.

PUBLIC EYE and THE MONARCH LANCE both jumped awkwardly and out.

ARMAMENT jumped awkwardly and in.

At the stat BADEN ROI, DANTE'S VIEW and ARCTIC FIRE were hampered between SADLER'S RHYTHM, which jumped out and GREAT GRID, which jumped in. As a consequence BADEN ROI lost ground.

When questioned why he travelled very wide from the 500m, jockey B. Appo (ARCTIC FIRE) stated that in Race 2, his mount failed to handle the conditions when racing near the rail. B. Appo also stated the general consensus of riders was the going was better to the outside of the track. Explanation noted.

The breastplate on DANTE'S VIEW broke during running.

THEATRE ROSE, THE MONARCH LANCE and PUBLIC EYE all raced greenly, hanging out throughout.

Time off: 5.48 pm.

RACE 5:PINDARI FREE RANGE PARK CLASS 2 H'CAP - 1200M.

MARCASITE was slowly away.

Leaving the 150m KIITOS SBAZEBA MOI was taken in by HELLO POSSUMS (G. Geran). G. Geran was advised of his obligations when his mount is shifting ground.

Time off: 6.20 pm.

RACE 6: OAKEY TROPHY CENTRE & VIDEOLAND CLASS 4 H'CAP -1100M.

CARISSIMA lost ground when jumping in the air as the gates opened.

BON VIVEUR, which jumped awkwardly and out, lost ground.

Near the 1000m MR CHEVY shifted in making contact with PITTAPADDY.

Approaching the 150m PITTAPADDY shifted out abruptly when hit with the whip.

Time off: 6.55 pm.

RACE 7: WESTERN 4 X 4 CLASS 1H'CAP - 1100M.

SHOOD BE SPEEDY, which was fractious in the barriers, threw its head up striking the rider in the face. Jockey M. Dorrington was fit to fulfil his engagement.

SHOOD BE SPEEDY was slowly away.

GEORGE THOMAS jumped awkwardly.

Near the 1000m MIGHTY PHUN was crowded for room between WAITER, which shifted out, and GEORGE THOMAS, which was taken in by SANDY JACK.

Leaving the 150m PEASEBLOSSOM shifted out under pressure.

Time off: 7.38 pm.

ALL WINNERS WERE SWABBED.
