SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS

20-12-05: Trainer E Ropiha reported that TRINITY HEIGHTS sustained a strain to the off fore flexor tendon during the running of the maiden handicap at Toowoomba on 17-12-05.

RACE 1: 3 WAY PHOTOS CLASS 3 H'CAP – 1615M.

Leaving the 950m KUTUZOV was inclined to hang in.

Near the 350m GRAND COLOURS was eased when tightened for room by BIRRI, which was taken in by KUTUZOV, which shifted in whilst lying in.

GRAND COLOURS hung in once placed under pressure in the home straight.

Time off 3.46 PM.

RACE 2: LEN PATTI MITSUBISHI CLASS 1 PLATE – 1310M.

Jockey A Parramore (CONCLAVE) advised stewards that trainer J Atkins intends to instruct him to ride his mount back in the field from the wide barrier if possible.

HOBEAU and ZAPPERANO were slowly away.

ATTACKENGO, which jumped away awkwardly, hung out throughout.

At the start SWIFT AND SURE was hampered by DODGE BALL, which jumped out.

Near the 900m ZAPPERANO was eased when momentarily crowded for room by CONCLAVE, which shifted in.

Near the 700m CABARITA COUNTY was eased from the heels of DODGE BALL, which made contact with the running rail when taken in by TEEJAY HUNTER, which shifted in momentarily.

Near the 200m L Wray (TEEJAY HUNTER) accidentally struck P Spry (ZAPPERANO) with her whip.

Time off 4.22 PM.

RACE 3: QTIS 3-Y-O MAIDEN PLATE – 1210M.

L Wray (FINALGO) replaced P Wolfgram who was stood down on medical advice after riding in the previous event.

At the start EPPONNEE BAE jumped in taking MU MU DENMARK onto DESIGN AWARD.

ARPEGE was slowly away.

RANGE ROVER blundered near the 950m.

Leaving the 900m SUPREME AGENDA was eased when crowded for room between MU MU DENMARK and MY KAVITA, which shifted in. SUPREME AGENDA then hung out for a short distance.

Approaching the 850m ARPEGE was momentarily crowded for room by ROCKABABE, which shifted in.

Near the 550m SHALE SHAKER shifted out and away from FINALGO, which shifted out whilst hanging out.

Near the 400m FINALGO lost ground when tightened for room between SHALE SHAKER, which shifted in and GUNZOFF, which shifted out and away from RANGE ROVER, which shifted out whilst racing greenly.

MY KAVITA, which raced wide throughout laid in once placed under pressure in the home straight.

J Warrington (MY KAVITA) was fined the sum of $200 for failing to ride his mount right out until the finish of the race.

Time off 5.02 PM.

RACE 4: CARLTON DRAUGHT CLASS 4 H'CAP – 1210M.

J McKinnon (MR FAHRENHEIT) replaced P Wolfgram.

CHESTERMAN blundered on jumping away.

Leaving the 900m MR FAHRENHEIT was steadied when crowded for room by SPLENDID FELLOW, which shifted in momentarily.

Approaching the 800m ULTRA MODERN was steadied from the heels of CHESTERMAN as the pace steadied.

SPLENDID FELLOW and HOODOO VOODOO shifted in over the concluding stages.

UNION RULE and PICWORTH raced wide throughout.

Time off 5.37 PM.

RACE 5: SANTA’S COMING FILLIES & MARES CLASS 2 H'CAP – 1210M.

PICAMELO was slowly away.

At the start CHICKCHAT, which dwelt as the gates opened was hampered by WHISPERING GYPSY, which jumped out.

Approaching the 850m CHICKCHAT shifted out and made contact with PICAMELO.

Leaving the 600m WILD AND WINDSWEPT was eased from the heels of WHISPERING GYPSY.

CHOCOLATE SUNDAE shifted out over the concluding stages.

Time off 6.12 PM.

RACE 6: DRINK RESPONSIBLY MAIDEN PLATE – 1009M.

J Warrington (SCATTER DELIGHT) replaced P Wolfgram.

THE ESPLANADE and ROUGE ADIEU made contact on jumping away. Shortly after the start LINZARNI shifted in and made contact with ROUGE ADIEU.

Approaching the 800M THE ESPLANADE was steadied from the heels of LINZARNI.

Near the 600m THE ESPLANADE was eased from the heels of LINZARNI.

BUSTED, which hung out throughout, shifted out at the 550m and bumped OUR INSHALLAH. ROUGE ADIEU, which was racing to the outside of the heels of OUR INSHALLAH, was steadied from that horse’s heels.

FAME SECA made the home turn wide.

ROUGE ADIEU raced wide throughout.

Time off 6.50 PM.

RACE 7: WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS CLASS 2 H'CAP – 1009M.

Trainer T Hamade was fined the sum of $100 for failing to declare the rider for SNOW WORRIES by the required time.

J Pujolas (CARNABY FAIR) replaced P Randall who was indisposed.

C Spry (CLARION CALL) replaced P Wolfgram.

AUSTRICA ONE was slowly away.

Near the 200m WORD HAS IT was steadied when it shifted in behind IVORFRAAR.
