RACE 1: CRANBROOK PRESS CLASS 2 H’CAP – 900M.
1st – 6 - 2nd – 5 - 3rd - 7 - 4th - 1

B Payne (OSCA’S RIGHT) replaced M Wood who was indisposed.

LADY BLUEBELL jumped in and across the running of OSCA’S RIGHT, which was slow to begin. LADY BLUEBELL continued to shift in taking MONMAGIC onto DUSTY TAAN.

Near 750m MINI MAIZING shifted in and bumped HE’S A HARRY. MINI MAIZING then shifted out taking DUSTY TAAN onto MONMAGIC.

SOPHIE’S GIRL, which hung out from the 500m until the early stages of the home straight raced wide throughout.

A post race veterinary examination of LADY BLUEBELL revealed the mare had a swelling above the near fore knee. Trainer B Hudson was advised a veterinary clearance is required for the mare prior to its next start.

Time off 3.22 PM.


RACE 2: TOOWOOMBA CONFECTIONERY WHOLESALERS QTIS 3-Y-O CLASS 3 PLATE – 1100M.
1st – 3 - 2nd – 2 - 3rd – 6 - 4th - 8

GIRLS JEUNEY jumped in coming into contact with EYE MAX.

YOU’RE SPECIAL and TWO MOONS were slow to begin.

Time off 4.02 PM.

RACE 3: DAIRY FARMERS CLASS 3 H’CAP – 1200M.
1st – 9 - 2nd - 2 - 3rd – 8 - 4th - 4

ARCHER’S PRIDE and STARSTAD were slow to begin.

LOTTO JACK (A Winfield), which was slowly away shifted out abruptly shortly after losing ground. In this incident A Winfield became momentarily unbalanced.

PICKASTAR and FIGMENTATION bumped on jumping away.

Approaching the 800m PICKASTAR was eased from the heels of LITTLE MISSIE.

Near the 800m IRIS KIAP was steadied from the heels of FIMENTATION.

Leaving the 800m FIGMENTATION shifted out taking ALBARISTA onto ARCHER’S PRIDE.

Leaving the 100m ALBARISTA was taken out by PICKASTAR, which shifted out under pressure.

IRIS KIAP was held up for clear running over the concluding stages.

LITTLE MISSIE raced wide from leaving the 800m.

ARCHER’S PRIDE and SILVER CLASSIC raced wide throughout.

RACE 4: CLIVE BERGHOFER LAND SALES OPEN H’CAP – 1600M.
1st – 3 - 2nd – 4 - 3rd – 1 - 4th - 7

LINDHOLME was withdrawn on veterinary advice at 11.00 am.

At the start RED PILL, GOLD RIMU and NEVADA GAMBLER were all tightened for room between TULLY SPUR, which jumped out and MILADY CLANG.

GOLD RIMU was inclined to lie out whilst racing keenly in the early and middle stages.

NEVADA GAMBLER raced wide from the 650m.

Approaching the 550m MILADY CLANG was eased from the heels of TULLY SPUR.

TULLY SPUR was held up for clear running rounding the home turn.

HELLO POSSUMS and MILADY CLANG both laid in once placed under pressure in the home straight.

Time off 5.20 PM.

RACE 5: MACLAGAN MOTORS CLASS 4 H’CAP – 1850M.
1st – 5 - 2nd – 1 - 3rd – 4 - 4th - 6

G Geran (GOWHEN) replaced M Price who failed to arrive on course by the required time. Stewards accepted the explanation of M Price why she failed to arrive on course by the required time.

EMMRAB was slow to begin.

SIR PHOENIX raced wide from the 1500m until the 650m.

RULES FOR LIFE was held up for clear running from the 500m until near the 300m.

Near the 350m KIND ACT shifted out and bumped GOWHEN.

Approaching the 100m KIND ACT was steadied when crowded for room by GOWHEN (G Geran), which shifted in. G Geran was reminded of his obligations when his mount is shifting ground.

Time off 5.57 PM.

RACE 6: 4WK CLASS 1 H’CAP – 1300M.
1st - 3 & 5 - 2nd - 3rd – 2 - 4th - 11

QUIET ONE was slowly away.

At the start OXJURIA jumped out taking DELESIA onto EPICUREAN.

At the start ALSO SPECIAL and ONE SMALL STEP were tightened for room between ROCKABABE, which jumped in and IV’S CHANCE, which jumped out.

Leaving the 1150m DELESIA got its head up and raced ungenerously for a short distance.

Near the 950m ALSO SPECIAL got its head up whilst being eased when crowded for room between OZJURIA and ROCKABABE, which shifted in.

Near the 850m EPICUREAN was momentarily crowded for room by DIGGER SYDNEY, which rolled in.

Near the 650m OZJURIA shifted out and bumped ROCKABABE wider on the track. ROCKABABE then raced wide for the remainder of the race.

Approaching the 150m OZJURIA, shifted in and made contact with ZED STREET.

Time off 6.41 PM.

RACE 7: WESTCO MAIDEN H’CAP – 1000M.
1st – 3 - 2nd – 6 - 3rd – 5- 4th - 7

At the start HE’S WISE jumped in hampering CHINOIS, which lost ground.

At the start HOWGREENISMYVALLEY was tightened for room between KWIK ‘N’ KOOL, which jumped out and SPARE TIME, which shifted in.

JOVIALKNIGHT was slow to begin.

MR DAY BREAK and MATT BLACK, which made the first turn very wide raced wide throughout.

Near the 900m ROCKEM shifted out taking HE’S WISE onto KWIK ‘N’ KOOL.

Near the 400m IDYLLIC DANEHILL (M Dorrington) shifted in and tightened the running of SPARE TIME, which got its head up and hung out whilst being checked. M Dorrington was reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift ground when insufficiently clear.

Time off 7.12 PM.
