Due to clerical error jockey P. Moodie was declared as the rider for KRONOS OUT (Race 1) and GOTTA GET LUCKY (Race 3). Explantion accepted and replace by S. Apthorpe (KRONOS OUT) and S. Oates (GOTTA GET LUCKY).

Under rule ARR 59(a) Trainer N. Strong was reprimanded for not being able to produce the registration papers for OUR BOY LOLLIPOP on request.

Jockey P. Spry fined $50 under ARR 175 (k) dual engagement of rides, replaced by S. Van Klaveren (MISTER BOOLA).

RACE 1:WARWICK HOTEL MAIDEN PLATE - 800M.

At the start FORTUNE'S FOLLY jumped out and at the same time OUR BOY LOLLIPOP jumped in tightening FANCY BELLE and PRESS THE CHANEL, which was slow to begin.

COAT OF ARMS jumped out taking KRONOS OUT out.

Approaching the 600m ESCUDE lost ground when OUR BOY LOLLIPOP (P.Wolfgram) hung in. Jockey Wolfgram reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift in.

Time off: 1.10 PM.

RACE 2: ROULSTON BUILDERS CLASS B H'CAP – 1100M.

REAL LIVE WOMAN jumped out making contact with MISTER BOOLA.

HEALER jumped out making contact with BANNER GIRL.

LET ME GO hung out throughout.

Time off: 1.50 PM.

RACE 3:ZONTA / HUDSON’S SUPREME PIES MAIDEN PLATE - 1200M.

GOTTA GET LUCKY jumped out coming into contact with CARNABY FAIR.

NEET ANSWER, which was a first starter, was slow to begin and raced awkwardly during the first 150m of the race.

Inquiry into the reason why MEDIA MANIA lost ground at approx the 700m adjourned to a date to be fixed.

Trainer J. Johnston advised CARNABY FAIR returned to scale with a deep laceration to the off hind leg.

RACE 5: MONROE SHOCK ABSORBERS H'CAP – 1350M.

NICTOM momentarily held up for clear running approaching the home turn.

Approaching the 150m JUST GUS shifted in placing pressure on BOLD MUSIC who was tiring.

JUST GUS (H. Hamada) continued to shift in under pressure hampering the running of BOLD TYCOON which initiated minor contact with AVON WALTZ. Apprentice Hamada reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift in.
