Jockey G Colless reported that the gelding was forced to race wide during the event however given the heavy track rating he did not feel this had a detrimental effect on the horse’s performance. Jockey Colless added that the gelding travelled comfortably during the event however when placed under pressure in the home straight, failed to respond to his riding and in his opinion proved disappointing. Post race Veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
