Steward Comment

When asked to comment on the performance rider J Orman stated he was happy to lead adding the horse travelled comfortably throughout the race however when placed under pressure failed to respond to his riding and was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an abnormal respiratory noise on pulling up. Trainer R Tyrell indicated LET’S KARAKA DEEL would now be retired, however if circumstances were to change the horse must trial satisfactorily and would require a veterinary clearance, including the results of a satisfactory endoscopic examination, prior to its next race start.
