Passing the 700m had to be checked to avoid the heels of HARD ROCK GIRL who was carried in by ELIXIR which shifted in when insufficiently clear. Raced fiercely for a number of strides thereafter and had to be checked passing the 600m. Apprentice Y. Lewis, rider of ELIXIR, plead guilty to a charge of careless riding and had her licence to ride in races suspended for 7 days to commence midnight 26 December 2021 to conclude midnight 2 January 2022.
