On arrival at the barriers the saddle was adjusted. Became unbalanced and lost ground on number of occasions in the early and middle stages of the event. Rider S Tomlinson reported the horse was inclined to race greenly and may not have appreciated racing on the synthetic surface. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Trainer I Turner was advised a warning would be placed on the racing manners of DU JOUR IDEA.

On arrival at the barriers the saddle was adjusted. After being loaded into the barriers, kicked out behind, was removed, underwent a veterinary examination, and was cleared to start. Slow to begin. Rider M Hellyer reported the horse laid out from the 500m.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare had bled from both nostrils for the first time. Trainer C Munce was advised ROSE GISELLE would be stood down from racing under AR79(4) for a period of 3 months and must gallop 1000m in the presence of a Steward prior to its next race start. Lost near hind plate in running.
