Approaching the 1400m checked from the heels of GRINZINGER KNIGHT. Apprentice M McPherson, rider of GRINZINGER KNIGHT, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that she permitted her mount to shift in when not clear of RICHUNCLEMONEYBAGS approaching the 1400m which had to be checked. The licence of E McPherson to ride in races was suspended for a period of 12 days to commence midnight 17th September up to and including midnight 29th September 2022. Rider B Thompson reported the horse failed to respond when placed under pressure from the 600m and was disappointing, adding
