RACE TWO

CAUTIVAR (9) will strip fitter from his latest outing when resuming from a break. Slammed with gate 7, he was retreating off the gate to go hunting for some luck up the inside when attacking the line in strong fashion. Off the back of a smart preparatory trial, despite the 2nd line, he can look to capitalise.

ONE OFF (1) took on a 2nd division qualifier last start when settling in the 1x1 trail when mid-field behind THEARTOFINFUSION. Looking for short-cuts up the pegs the start prior behind the talented GAME SET MAJOR, he lands the options from this gate and looks set to get his chance.

STREET APPEAL (10) has not been that far off them since returning from a spell, yet he just does not seem to be firing as he was last campaign. Sent to the pegs last start was an indication of where he may be, but he can pop-up here.

RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (6) retreated from this gate last time out over this trip and was closing out strongly when only 5m from the winner BLUE MOON RISING. Facing some tough gates in recent outings, he can be chiming in late.

SELECTIONS: CAUTIVAR (9), ONE OFF (1), STREET APPEAL (10), RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (6)
SUGGESTED BET: CAUTIVAR (9) to win

RACE THREE

This shapes as a tricky little contest with plenty of in-form runners bringing a big cross-section of form lines into the mix. By virtue of the gate advantage, REMEMBER ME NOW (2) can look to fire the opening salvo as he searches for a hat-trick of wins. Powering over the top of them last start from gate 5 over the 2138m, it followed an all the way win over the mile. The threepeat is within reach.

LUCKY LYLA (1) tackled the 2138m last starts when down the line behind the star mare SMART AS CAMM BE. Beaten by a tough gate the start prior when retreating from gate 6 over the Redcliffe sprint trip, she looks set for an economical trip here and settling on the speed can be ready to land the snipers shot.

IDEAL TIGER (5) was game in the breeze here 2 starts back when rolling forward form this same gate over the mile to grind out a tough 2nd to NOTORIOUS. Only 4m away at his next start, he found conditions to suit at Marburg last time in a smart win. He can feature again here.

ROLL WITH ROCKY (3) put it together here on Monday when making the most of gate 2 when sent straight to the front to take them all the way over the mile in a new career PB. He will be in for the fight again.

SELECTIONS: REMEMBER ME NOW (2), LUCKY LYLA (1), IDEAL TIGER (5), ROLL WITH ROCKY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: REMEMBER ME NOW (2) to win

RACE FOUR

AURORA (8)
steps back into the open age ranks after taking on an age restricted event last time out. Forced to overcome a 70m handicap in that event, it proved a mountain too steep. Runner-up from this same mark 2 starts back when only a half-head from ROCKET NOVA, her manners will take her a long way in this.

DOUG (12) faces a nice drop in grade to tackle this line-up yet that is tempered by the fact he will need to overcome the 40m impost. A winner at his 2nd start in Qld when claiming a strong win at the mobile 2138m here 2 starts back, he was strong here on Tuesday when 3m in arrears of the in-form SKYLINE. Despite some risky manners at the tapes, out the back on his own may just help.

JANSSON (10) settled in the 1x1 trail from his 20m tape last start and was chasing in vain as CLOVER LOU put them away. Looking for gaps when 4m in arrears of ROCKET NOVA the start prior, he can feature in this.

SOH TWISTED (1) was back in the placings last start from the inside lane when using the passing lane after releasing the front early. With her manners, she again has the options and will be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: AURORA (8), DOUG (12), JANSSON (10), SOH TWISTED (1)
SUGGESTED BET: AURORA (8) to win

RACE FIVE

NOR WESTA (2) was a Redcliffe winner 4 starts back over the sprint trip when defying the tempo to power home over the top after they walked early out in front. Forget her next outing, she was completely luckless 2 runs back and franked that assessment when leading throughout here on Monday. She can look to rinse and repeat.

NIFTY STUDLEIGH (10) was sent forward from the 2nd line last start at Marburg to sit outside the leader and could not punch it out when finishing 8m in arrears of the winner. Beaten by gate 7 at his past 2 starts when forced to retreat on each occasion, he can trail through here and look to ask some questions.

ELZBOY (1) eased from gate 6 last start and was a long way back in the pack when closing out in nice style to be 2.5m from the winner. With the options off the ace, he can look to be in the mix.

HIGH ON MONTANA (4) was sent to the post as fav last start from the 2nd line at Redcliffe and was strong to the line against the tempo. Closing nicely here 2 starts back, he will not be too far away.

SELECTIONS: NOR WESTA (2), NIFTY STUDLEIGH (10), ELZBOY (1), HIGH ON MONTANA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: NOR WESTA (2) to win

RACE SIX

TRUMP EM BABE (1) was working towards a maiden breaking win and was able to deliver that last start when working home strongly down the outside at Redcliffe to arrive for the prize. Placed in the 3 previous outings, she can take the confidence from the 1st up win and with an economical run in transit can look to make the closing shot a winning one.

WHERES TASCOTT (5) was not suited last start when rolling the sleeves to grind it out in the breeze before fading out over the Redcliffe 1780m trip. Attacking the line in the closing stages here 2 starts back when within 2m of the winner SIGNOR JUJON, positioning cheaply will be key to his chances.

BOPPIN THE BLUES (3) led them up here 3 starts back from this same gate and led them deep into the stretch when nabbed in the closing strides. Doing it the tough way last start, he will be gripping on here.

ITS YOU NOT ME (10) has just the 1 win in 63 appearances here at The Creek but he can look to add a minor to the tally here. Beaten by gate 7 here on Monday, with the right trip he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: TRUMP EM BABE (1), WHERES TASCOTT (5), BOPPIN THE BLUES (3), ITS YOU NOT ME (10)
SUGGESTED BET: TRUMP EM BABE (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

HIT THE TRACK (7) will be requiring a slice of luck from the wide gate here but he may have found the right opponents to land his 1st win in Qld. Pressing forward from gate 6 here 3 starts back, he was grinding away in the breeze when 7m in arrears of MORESCO. Forced to retreat for this gate last time out, he might just appreciate this contest.

DANCINGINTHEDARK (4) made the most of the lamp lighting duties at Redcliffe 2 starts back when taking them all the way from gate 3 to score an easy win, running a smart closing split around the triangle. Hitting the line in good order last start when runner-up, she can throw it down here.

IFYOUBLEIEVE (1) has been below his consistent best at his past 2 starts from tough gates but will get the opportunity to bounce back here from the improved alley. With the early options he is a podium player.

DEVOUGED (10) rolled forward from gate 4 last start over the Redcliffe sprint trip when obliged to do it the tough way. Proving too strong, he claimed a 3m victory which followed a tough 3rd. The gate stings but he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: HIT THE TRACK (7), DANCINGINTHEDARK (4), IFYOUBLEIEVE (1), DEVOUGED (10)
SUGGESTED BET: HIT THE TRACK (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

BANGKOK BRAVADO (5) faces a sticky gate here and the map could make it a little difficult but that said, he may just have found suitable conditions for an overdue breakthrough. Best of the chasers behind the in-form COPPERFIELD 2 starts back, he was too far back to chase after retreating from gate 6 last start. Is worth a chance.

STORM GILBERT (2) has not missed the board at his past 7 outings but will need to step it up here to continue that streak. An easy leader off the ace over the Redcliffe 1780m last start, he cruised home in a strong closing 800m to hold on. With the good gate he will be there for the challenge.

COBBLER LANE (9) found conditions to suit here on Monday when powering home over the top to land victory by a neck. A passing lane 2nd to STORM GILBERT the start prior, he will be chiming in .

DAPPER BESSIE (8) will need a slice of luck to see some space in time, but if the track opens, she can be chiming in. Clashing against her strong stablemates in mares qualifiers at her past 2, she will be probing for openings.

SELECTIONS: BANGKOK BRAVADO (5), STORM GILBERT (2), COBBLER LANE (9), DAPPER BESSIE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BANGKOK BRAVADO (5) each-way

RACE NINE

We had to wait until after 11pm to see her last week and we will have to stay up late again to see the star mare SMART AS CAMM BE (8). Cruising around them to find the front last time, she only had to turn and burn and that is exactly what she did in a sub 27 closing panel. She can repeat.

ALLELUIA (4) is still chasing a drought breaking win but his efforts of late have been solid enough to suggest the right race is not too far away. Holding on for the bronze from the pocket trail last start behind the smart GAME SET MAJOR, it had followed a tough run in the breeze. He is in the mix.

UNASSUMING CHAMP (2) used the passing lane to grab the silver over the mile here 2 starts back when 1.5m in arrears of the winner THATS HOW WEROLL. Firing early bullets, he has podium hopes.

ROYAL LINCOLN (6) was returning from a spell and having his 1st run for the Jason Carkeet stable when snagging back from this same gate. Closing in good order he will be tightened from the run and can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: SMART AS CAMM BE (8), ALLELUIA (4), UNASSUMING CHAMP (2), ROYAL LINCOLN (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 8 / 2-4-6
