RACE ONE

Dominant on the front-end last start over the 2138m to claim a 5m victory LOMBO HEAVEN (5) is in the right form to go hat-trick hunting. Dictating over his preferred mile here two starts back, he was never in danger once in control last week. He can power up and claim the threepeat.

STREITKID (9) has returned in top order and will only be fitter here after two runs back from a spell. Only fading late when first up at Redcliffe from gate 6, he put on a power running display here last week to take them all the way in a new career benchmark of 1.52. The gate dents his chances.

PARAVANI (1) started from inside the second line last start and soon buried had not much choice but to hope for some luck. Back to the mile from the from the good alley brings the options.

MAYWYNS COURAGE (8) had genuine excuses last week when trailing the field in as STREITKID dominated. He will be locked away against the poles here and can look for the short-cuts.

SELECTIONS: LOMBO HEAVEN (5), STREITKID (9), PARAVANI (1), MAYWYNS COURAGE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: LOMBO HEAVEN (5) to win

RACE TWO

He comes up with the tough alley out the back, but the recent performances of BITCOIN (10) have been strong enough to suggest he can make a serious play. Hitting the line smartly to grab the silver behind STREITKID here last week, it followed a game effort when parked outside WILL THE WIZARD.

SECRETAGENT TYCOON (5) was just 4m from the winner when setting the speed when resuming here four starts back. His next three have been on The Triangle which is not the track that elicits his best. Back to the big deck and finding the right type of contest, he can be much sharper.

JUMPING JACK JIMMY (1)
has improved at each appearance after three runs back from a spell, the latest here on Tues when holding 3rd behind WATTS UP SUNSHINE. The gate is his friend here.

COMMODORE JUJON (6) is a model of consistency, adding another minor to the tally last start when using the passing lane to be 4m from the winner STREITKID. Despite the gate he won’t be far away.

SELECTIONS: BITCOIN (10), SECRETAGENT TYCOON (5), JUMPING JACK JIMMY (1), COMMODORE JUJON (6)
SUGGESTED BET: BITCOIN (10) to win

RACE THREE

Put a line through the return of AMILLION PROMISES (1) from his run here last week in a race that was dominated up front on the pegs. Forced to retreat from gate 5 in that race, he was facing mission impossible. With the improved gate and stalking the speed, he can land a winning shot.

JUDDY DOUGLAS (3) had the hustle last start to hold them wide from gate 1, with the price of lighting the lamps equating to a 26.2 opener. Only nailed on the wire by THREE IN HEAVEN that had the cold sit, he loves to roll them out in front and taking control will again be gripping on.

FALCONS (2) owned the best closing speed to claim a second division qualifier at Redcliffe two starts back and then here last start was just too far back. The improved gate can see him feature.

OBI ONE (4) was a beaten favourite here two starts back from the ace when crossed early in a sizzling opening panel. Midfield from deep in the pack last start, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: AMILLION PROMISES (1), JUDDY DOUGLAS (3), FALCONS (2), OBI ONE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: AMILLION PROMISES (1) to win

RACE FOUR

The divided conditions of this contest coupled with a tighter gate than he has seen at his past three, SPEECH IS SILVER (3) looks to find the right set up to take his Albion Park winning strike rate to 50%. Charging home to score three starts back, he was strong late here last week and settling closer can see him arrive.

DEUX EX (7) was stamped urgent off the arm last week and had the hustle to control. It was however a costly exercise, the sub 35 lead time had him out of bullets swinging for home. 3rd to NORTHVIEW HUSTLER two starts back, conditions here can see him challenge despite the gate.

L L COOL J (5) was sent forward and obliged to position first over last start over the Redcliffe sprint trip but could not hang on through a slick closing 800m. He can slide across and may need to roll the sleeves to feature.

MISTERFREEZE (2) grabbed the bronze behind TURN IT UP last start after securing the economical trip in behind the speed. He will be handy enough to make a podium play again here.

SELECTIONS: SPEECH IS SILVER (3), DEUX EX (7), L L COOL J (5), MISTERFREEZE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SPEECH IS SILVER (3) to win

RACE FIVE

It was six starts back that MISDEMEANOR (1) took control soon after the start in a mare’s qualifier and then took them all the way. Beaten a head at her next outing when grabbed in the last stride, not much has been in her favour since. Back to headquarters from the ace, she can bounce back.

MISTER DIAMOND (8) will take some benefit from this last start appearance when resuming from a spell. Slammed with the outside second line at Marburg, he was wide off the track when trying to launch a closing raid but unable to get into the battle. Stalking the speed can see him challenge.

WHICH HUNT (2) has been in top form without getting a winning reward for her performances. Strong to the line here last week to grab the bronze behind TALENT TO SPARE, she has claims.

CAPTAINS PICK (9) had eyes for the lead over the Redcliffe 1780m last start and pressing on to take control was then too powerful out in front to score in slick time. The gate stings but he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: MISDEMEANOR (1), MISTER DIAMOND (8), WHICH HUNT (2), CAPTAINS PICK (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-8-9

RACE SIX

Returning for his 3YO season in top order to remain undefeated in three appearances, SPEAK THE TRUTH (3) backs up from his dominant win here on Tuesday to claim the threepeat. Finding space to get off the pegs and move around to sit parked, he put the leader away through a slippery closing half. With the gate advantage, he can capitalise.

TIMS A TROOPER (6) was given a pipe opener at the trials here on Tuesday and was strong to the line in some slick panels. Last seen in the NSW Derby Final when midfield behind his gun stablemate LEAP TO FAME following a smart heat win. The gate is sticky, but he has the class to make a serious challenge.

BEACH MAGIC (5) has been ticking over nicely to make it three wins in his past five starts at his latest outing. Doing some early work to secure position before finishing best to score, against his own age he can feature.

RACY ROXY (7) was returning from a NSW Oaks campaign here on Tuesday when releasing the speed soon after the start before going off stride. Despite the gate she has place claims at her best.

SELECTIONS: SPEAK THE TRUTH (3), TIMS A TROOPER (6), BEACH MAGIC (5), RACY ROXY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SPEAK THE TRUTH (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

Returning to the big deck made all the difference for BETTERTHANDIAMONDS (1) last start with the improved gate also helping as she took them all the way. Both runs at Redcliffe when returning from a spell were top shelf with the win here franking that. The gate makes her hard to beat.

BOMBADIER JUJON (8) is still chasing his first victory of the season, but nothing has been in his favour this campaign, including the one time he drew favourably, the meeting was abandoned. Snagged back to the poles from gate 6 last start and sound to the line, he can be stalking.

ROCK BOTTOM (6) has been running some handy races in Veteran’s grade where he has hit the board in his past three. Closing out in nice order from gate 7 last time, he is a podium player again.

INFATUATION (7) has been in nice touch, finishing in the money at his past four in succession which also includes a pair of victories. Scoring up the passing lane last start, the gate stings the chance of a repeat.

SELECTIONS: BETTERTHANDIAMONDS (1), BOMBADIER JUJON (8), ROCK BOTTOM (6), INFATUATION (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BETTERTHANDIAMONDS (1) to win

RACE NINE

VAN SANK (8)
was safely int stride last start over this trip from a front line tape and sent forward was able to find the front and once in control took them all the way. Making an error the start prior, he started the season with a mobile win three back. Fresh for this assignment, he can strike.

TAM OSHANTER (9) was set for the Marathon last start first up and after settling into the running line, threw his chances away with an error. A winner at his previous six in succession as he marched through the grades, taking every challenge put before him. With manners, he can gain redemption.

GEE UP NEDDY (7) should take good benefit from his last start in the Trotters Marathon where he was resuming from a spell. Pressing ahead to set the speed, he fought on gamely and can feature.

MORE SHADES OF GOLD (6) can be a risk from the tapes, but if he can get it right, he looks well placed off the front strand. Dictating in front last start from the mobile, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: VAN SANK (8), TAM OSHANTER (9), GEE UP NEDDY (7), MORE SHADES OF GOLD (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

A small field of 2YOs to do battle with a pair of first starters to line up. After placing in both starts to date, THE GROGMOTHER (2) should appreciate an improved alley after facing gate 4 at Redcliffe and then inside the second line here on Tuesday. Chasing gamely for 3rd as FOXI FIVE dictated last time, the race experience is a big plus.

FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (3) is one of the first starters, a Captaintreacherous colt out of the former smart race mare Morethanmeetstheye. Making an error in a Marburg trial before finishing strongly, he impressed in a qualifying trial on this track and stays under a big watch first up.

EMPRESS BYELINE (5) is the only winner in the field, taking them all the way here last start from gate 1 to claim victory by 1m. The gate does her no favours this time around, but the confidence and experience will be a big asset to call on.

SELECTIONS: THE GROGMOTHER (2), FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (3), EMPRESS BYELINE (5)
SUGGESTED BET:
